____________________________________Prithvi immediately obeyed. He set out to locate Aisha and bring her before me.
As I waited for Aisha to arrive, my anger and disappointment consumed my thoughts.
I questioned Yug, saying"'She's your sister. Aren't you afraid that I will harm her?'"
Yug looked troubled, his eyes lowered as he spoke. "She's my sister, Yuvraj," he admitted. "But what she tried to do... it's unforgivable. If you believe that killing her is justice, then I can't stop you, but I won't oppose your decision."
I observed Yug for a moment, seeing the turmoil in his expression. I leaned in slightly, my voice firm but not unkind. "Yug, I understand she's your sister," I began. "But her betrayal... it's beyond comprehension. As for your question, no, I'm not scared. If that's what needs to be done, I will not hesitate. But I want to give her a chance to explain herself. I want to hear her side of the story. Then I will decide her fate."
Yug nodded, understanding in his eyes. "I see, Yuvraj," he replied. "I'll prepare her for your interrogation."
I knew this conversation would reveal the depth of her treachery.
Soon, Prithvi returned, leading Aisha into the room. Aisha's eyes darted around, filled with both fear and defiance as she faced me.
I observed Aisha with a steely gaze, my expression unreadable. "You know why I've called you here," I stated tonelessly. "Yug has shared with me your plans to harm my wife. Is it true?"
Aisha swallowed hard, her hands trembling slightly. She lifted her chin defiantly, meeting my gaze. "It is," she admitted, a note of bitterness in her voice. "But it's not what you think, Yuvraj."
I raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Oh? Then tell me, what do I need to know?" I demanded, my voice cold.
Aisha took a deep breath, her expression a mixture of resentment and a hint of regret. "Advay was the one you should focus on, Yuvraj," she began. "He was the mastermind."
I felt a flash of anger at her words, but I forced myself to keep a neutral expression. "And you were just blindly following his instructions, is that it?" I asked, my voice laced with sarcasm.
Aisha shook her head, a mixture of emotions in her eyes. "No, Yuvraj," she denied. "He manipulated me. He made me believe things, made me think it was the right thing to do. I was a fool to trust him."
I stated "So, you didn't want to harm my wife?'"
Aisha's bravado faltered at my words, her body tensing as she heard my blunt accusation. Her eyes darted around, guilt and defensiveness warring within her. "It's not that simple, Yuvraj," she protested, her voice weak. "Advay made me believe he loved me, that what he was suggesting was the only way for us to be together."
