______Abhi abhi to aayi ho, bahar banke chhayi ho
Hawa zara mehak to le, nazar zara behak to le
Yeh shaam dhal to le zara
Yeh dil sambhal to le zara
Main thodi deir jee to loon
Nashe ke ghoont pee to loon
Abhi to kuchh kaha nahi
Abhi to kuchh sun nahi
Abhi nah jao chhodke ke dil abhi bhara nahi💔____________________________________
I woke up to the feel of Titli's warm body curled up against mine, her soft breathing a comforting rhythm in the early morning silence. For a brief moment, I allowed myself to be lulled by the peacefulness of the moment.
But then, the reality of the day came flooding back to me, and with it, the knowledge that she would be leaving soon.
I gently pulled her closer, savoring the warmth of her body and the comfort of her presence. The thought of her being away from me, even for a short while, was like a weight settling heavily on my heart.
Kabhi lagga hi nahi koi itna mahatvapoorn ho jayega,
ki unke bina rehne ka socha bhi nahi jayega.
I knew it was for her own good. But the selfish part of me wanted to keep her by my side forever, where I could protect her and watch over her constantly.
I gently pressed my lips to her forehead, feeling the softness of her skin and inhaling the familiar scent of her hair. As my lips made contact, she stirred, her eyelids fluttering open to reveal her sleepy, beautiful face.
Meri titli
"Good morning," I whispered, smiling softly. Her eyes slowly gained focus, and she returned my smile, her hand reaching up to touch my face.
"You're up early," she mumbled, her voice still thick with sleep. She snuggled closer to me, seeking the warmth of my body.
"Couldn't sleep," I admitted, pulling her closer. "Too many thoughts running through my head."
She said,"yaad karenge nah aap mujhe?"
(Will you remember me?)
I replied, "kyu karunga apko yaad"(Why should I remember you?)
She made an angry face, but I couldn't resist her, so I kissed her lips and said," yaad toh jab karunga nah jab bhul jaunga apko"
"I'll remember you only if and when I forget you.""Hmmm," I replied, my voice filled with a mix of tenderness and determination. "You're too important to forget. I'll count the days until you return, and I'll be counting the seconds, the minutes, the hours."
She asked, "toh bhej kyu rahe hain aap"
(Then why are you bothering to send it?)
I chuckled and replied," taki mai dusri Rani la saaku" (So I can find another Queen.)
She smacked my chest in jest and said, "jaan le lungi apki"
(I'll take your life.)I laughed as she smacked my chest, the lighthearted jab and her feigned anger making my heart lighten a bit.
"It's not like that," I protested jokingly. "I'm not planning on collecting queens like I'm collecting stamps. You're the only queen I have eyes for."
