Gabbie looked at Ben in shock. "I'm sure she did research on what happened in this house."

"Can you prove that she did research on the house and doesn't have some kind of spiritual connection to the house itself," Ben asked.

"Ben, I'm not going to subject Ember into being haunted by the spirits of the house, until they successfully get her back here. It wouldn't be fair to her, because she has nothing to do with what is going on right now," Gabbie argued.

"How about we consult with the psychic? She might be able to tell us if Ember has any connection to this house or not," Father Kent said turning to Harriet. "What do you say? Think you can help us get a few answers on this young woman, Ember?"

Harriet looked chocked for a moment before regaining her composure. "I could ask the spirits about her. But she would have to have a spirit who is connected to here in the house. Let's go somewhere more private and we can find out."

Gabbie led the group to a room she had found and shown it to everyone. "Would this room work?"

"It will be fine. Now let's get to talking to some spirits," Harriet said. "Everybody grab a seat, hold hands and watch the magic happen."

Everybody waited a few minutes before Father Kent turned to Harriet. "So, did anything happen? Do you know what connections this young woman, Ember has to the house?"

Harriet gave Father Kent an annoyed look. "I didn't get any answers yet, because I was unable to reach the spirits. Somebody here doesn't believe that I am the real deal."

"That would be me," Ben said earning an annoyed look from Father Kent. "Look you were the one who had shown up at my home and told me that you needed my help with what was going on. But when you mentioned that you asked a psychic medium to join in on this; I didn't think that you would go and hire a fraud who is only looking for a quick paycheck in between her gimmicks. How much are you paying her to do this?"

"She's getting paid the same amount as us, when we can help bring the peace to the house by helping the spirits cross over," Father Kent said.

"And I will have you know that I have the gift to see and communicate with spirits. Your disbelief in me threw me off my A game," Harriet replied. "Now, let's do this again. Hold hands and keep an open mind, as well as close your eyes."

Everybody around the table closed their eyes, waiting for the spirits to make themselves known to Harriet and communicate with Harriet.

After a bit of time, Ben opened his eyes and noticed that he was now in the spirit realm. Ben walked away from the table that had the group sitting around waiting for Harriet to be spoken to by the spirits.

Ben walked further away noticing all of the spirits running around frantically, looking for a place to hide. It almost seemed that the spirits were being tormented by something that he has yet to see.

Ben tried to stop a few spirits who ran past him to ask them what was going on, but they ignored him and ran to hide from the unseen threat.

Ben was about to give up when he spotted William Gracey run by. "William Gracey!"

Ben ran after William Gracey, but stopped when William Gracey jumped into the painting. "William Gracey, please talk to me. What has all of you spirits running and hiding in fear?"

Ben was thinking about walking away, when William Gracey popped out of the wall looking at him. "You called?"

Ben stopped and turned to face William Gracey. "I did. I have some questions that I wanted to ask you."
