The next morning, Ben woke up to Gabbie making breakfast and placing it all on the table as everyone made their way to the table, to eat.

Ben cleared his throat, gaining Gabbie's attention. "Are you absolutely sure that it is wise for all of us to be sitting in the dining room, enjoying a family breakfast, like we're not being haunted by a bunch of scared ghosts; as well as an evil ghost who is tormenting those ghosts and us?"

"I'm doing all that I can to make sure that my son gets a normal life. Well, as normal as I can make it normal, while Travis and I are living in this mansion. Besides, I don't really have much of a choice," Gabbie said while trying to hold back tears of frustration.

Ben walked over pulling Gabbie into a comforting hug. "Hey, there is no need to release the tears of frustration. Everything will work out. We will send this evil ghost where he truly belongs. But right now, why don't we sit down with everyone enjoy a hot meal? We can even do our best to ignore the ghosts that are wandering around."

"I don't think they would like that too much. I remember Ember telling me to be respectful of the ghosts in the house," Gabbie said.

"Mom are we gonna see that nice lady who paid us a visit when we first moved in," Travis asked.

"I don't know honey. She might be really busy with work and living her life, most likely hanging out with her friends. Besides, we don't know where the young woman lives; or where she works," Gabbie started to say.

"I have a feeling that the young woman might work in a museum or something like that. It would make sense, since she seems to know so much about the ghosts in this house," Ben tried to reason with Gabbie.

Gabbie shook her head at what Ben was saying. "Ben just because Ember knew a few facts about the ghosts that we live in the house, doesn't mean that she works in a museum, that would have historical facts about them. Maybe Ember had done some research of the people who may have lived in the house, or the people who may have lived here before the mansion was built."

"Only way for us to find out is find out where this Ember girl works. Or maybe find a friend who could give us a clue as to where we can find this Ember woman," Ben suggested earning a look from Gabbie. "We can do this after we all sit down and enjoy the lovely breakfast that you worked so hard to make."

Gabbie and Ben sat down with everyone else eating, when Father Kent suddenly spoke up.

"What is this I hear about taking a little trip out of the mansion, to look for a specific person," Father Kent asked.

"Don't take this the wrong way father, but we ended that conversation. I don't wish to bring it back up again; especially with my son Travis sitting at the table listening in on the conversation," Gabbie said.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to ruffle feathers. I only want to see if this young woman can help us fill in the blanks about facts that we may be missing," Father Kent said.

"You're not ruffling any feathers. I can assure you of that. I don't want to bother this young woman. Who is to say that this young woman isn't busy living her own life? Do you really think that Ember wants us to randomly show up at her home, or where she works? Think about it. If a bunch of people that you don't know randomly show up on your doorstep or show up at your job randomly to ask about a bunch of ghosts that have lived over a hundred years ago," Gabbie said trying to prove a point.

"You have nothing to worry about Gabbie. We won't make it obvious as to why we are looking for the young woman. We only want to ask her a few questions," Father Kent said.

"Let's say that you do go through with this little search for Ember. What are you gonna say to her when you do find her? Are you gonna tell her the truth about how the ghosts of the mansion are looking for her? Or are you gonna figure out a lie to tell her, to convince her to come along with you as you make your way back to the mansion," Gabbie asked.
