The red sports car blocked Naomi's part a few meters from school and she frowned. She already knows who it belonged to. Just then, the black tinted glass of the driver's side lowered and she saw the handsome boy behind the steering wheel. "Get in," he said without looking at her.

"No thank you, I can manage," she replied, moving away from the car.

"Get in the car, Naomi, or I will make you," this time, Asher glanced at her and she gasped and that was because rather than midnight blue, his eyes were transparent brown.

Frowning, she sighed and walked around the car to get into the passenger's seat. She doesn't know why but she believed one hundred percent that he could make her get into the car and she would prefer to get in on her own than being carried. Now inside the cozy car, his masculine scent filled her senses and now being in an enclosed space with just him and his scent, she was able to pinpoint how he smelled like. His smell was a little rusty and also tantalizing like tangerine, however, there was another smell, a smell of woods and fire. She frowned, how could he have so many scents and most importantly, how could she pinpoint it all? She glanced at him as he drove. All the scents together made him appealing and she couldn't help but leaning a little closer to get a little bit more.

Asher glanced when he sensed the proximity of the girl next to him but only to be shocked to see her leaning towards him with her eyes closed as she inhaled and exhaled. "What are you doing?" he asked and her eyes snapped open and she rest back in her chair, her eyes on the windscreen. Asher frowned, wondering what she could possibly be doing. It can't be that she was sniffing him, right? Could it be that his Nightwalker scent was captivating her? If so then why can't he compel her?

Thinking to that, he cleared his throat and blinked, his eyes slightly red now as he asked, "tell me, Naomi, how did you see that accident?" he made sure his voice was soft and velvet, enough to sip into her mind and he glanced at her now, holding her gaze. He saw shock in her eyes and he almost rejoiced, finally, it worked.

Naomi opened her mouth to speak, her eyes not leaving his, "I don't understand."

Asher blinked and glanced back at the road, "don't understand what?" he asked, his voice so cold compared to the voice he just used on her now.

Naomi flinched at his tone and withdrew on her seat, glancing out the window. Seeing that, Asher sighed and closed his eyes to calm himself, in as much as he is angry that his power wasn't working on her, he wouldn't be getting anything from her if he was angry. "I'm sorry, what don't you understand?"

"It's nothing," Naomi said, still glancing outside the window. Asher sighed and continued driving, his thought was running around but he forced himself to stay focus. Getting to the last turn that would lead to her house, Naomi spoke up, "you can drop me here."

"Why, this is not your house," he responded.

"You don't know my house."

"Try me."

Naomi glanced at him, his words made her think fast and then she was frowning. "Have you been stalking me?"

"What?" Asher glanced at her.

"How would you know my house if you have not been stalking me, you creep."

"Hey, calm down," Asher said, clearing to the side of the road. He stared at her, "I got your location from the school register."

"That is stalking me."

"No, that is a friend wanting to know where his friend lives so that he can give her a ride."

"A friend?" Naomi raised an eyebrow. "You told me to mind my business earlier today, remember?"

"No, I only said you should talk about the party."
