"I can't believe all we've organised in a week." Kellin said, sounding slightly exasperated. "A flat deposited on and a world tour planned."
"Eh, and mine and Elle's business is now undergo as well!" Antonia piped up. Elle nodded in a proud agreement.
"This has cost us a fortune though." Kellin laughed.
"Yeah, but we'd saved up for the flat and the business isn't too expensive for now." Antonia replied, rolling her eyes. "What time are we setting off?"
"I'd say anytime now."
"I'm so glad you'll be back over soon!" Elle squealed.
"End of the week and you'll be sick of the sight of us." Antonia giggled.
"Never." Elle shook her head disapprovingly. "I cannot wait."
"I'll make sure I look at stocks for us to order in over the next couple of days so keep checking your email." Antonia informed her.
"Who the fuck uses emails?" Kellin sniggered.
"Successful mature business women, duh." Antonia punched his arm.
"I was pretty sure you two were just older than teenagers in your emo phase." I said.
"That literally describes you two, hands down. Not me and Elle." Antonia sassed.
"I want to be home before the soccer comes on." Kellin complained. "So, let's be off." He picked up their bags and wandered over to the door. "Have a nice evening you two."
"Smell you later, Quinn."
"They're total losers. Bye Elle." Antonia waved as she disappeared through the door with Kellin.
"Right, miss Westend, whatever are we going to do without guests in the house?" I questioned, taking her hands into mine.
"Well, we can walk around in just our pants again. "
"That is correct."
"And we can have romantic nights in."
"That is also very correct." I replied. "I'm going to need some candles, some music, some food and my girl."
"At least you already got one ready." She smirked.
"Oh yeah? And what would that be?" I teased.
"You got me." She whispered. I pulled her closer to my body and rested my forehead against her's.
"You got that right baby." I had one hand on her waist and placed the other under her chin, lifting her head until our lips met midair. "You're so god damn beautiful." I breathed against her soft lips, they curled into a smile against my lips and it felt like every single wall I had ever built was crashing down at once. Making her happy was the purpose I most enjoyed.
"If I prepare the candles, will you prepare the food Mr Fuentes?" She spoke against my face.
"You had to ruin the moment, God damnit." I giggled and she joined too.
"Any food, just not burritos tonight. Ok?"
"Ok." I groaned back, putting on a grumpy pout for her enjoyment. She lifted her hands onto my cheeks and kissed me again. "How does bolognese sound?"
"Hmm maybe something less... tomatoey."
"Pizza?"
"That is still tomato to the extreme." She sniggered.
"Chicken pasta?"
"I like the idea of chicken but not pasta on its own..."
"Chicken pasta salad?" I added.
"That'll do." She winked.
"Chicken pasta salad it is!" I grinned at her.
"Hey, now the guys have left you can go back to cooking in your pants." Elle reminded me, though I assumed it was more for her benefit than my own.
"You just want to see me without trousers on."
"You cannot accuse me of being a pervert of my own boyfriend. It's like a pact, you get to see me with in just a shirt and pants, and I get to see you the same!"
"If I'm lucky, I get to see you in less than shirt and pants." I smirked, murmuring quietly.
"What was that Vic?" She raised her eyebrows and I laughed. "You know, I have ears like a hawk."
"You love it and you know it."
"Sometimes I don't know whether in hungry or horny, but right now it's definitely hungry so I'll keep my pants on until I've been fed, thanking you."
"What even was that statement?"
"The truth, perhaps?"
"Well I always know whether I'm hungry or horny." I winked at her. She rolled her eyes. "But right now, I'm the same as you. I am famished."
"We'll save the sexy talk for later then."
"Perhaps we will." I wandered off into the kitchen and prepared the chicken and salad. It was pre-cooked so I was finished within a few minutes. On re-entering the living room, I saw the table decorated with candles and rose petals. It looked as pretty as the music sounded. Elle was stood next to the table, grinning, in one of my oversized tshirts and just her knickers. She looked extremely cute. "Ah, so my advice was taken after all?"
"I think you'll find it was me who reminded you, actually." She smirked.
"Sure sure. Grubs up."
"Grubs? That makes us sound like timone and pumba."
"Maybe we are. You, the delicate little Timone, small but feisty. Me, warmhearted Pumba but larger in comparison."
"You have the wind of Pumba, my darling, but not the size." She pouted.
"Sure I do. " I grinned as we both took our seats at the table. The candles calmed the atmosphere down.
"You know, we still haven't arranged our therapy sessions." Elle said.
"Shit." I replied, although I didn't sound convincingly worried. I wasn't worried that I hasn't had therapy as the pure prospect scared me wholly.
"We can call them in the morning, yeah?"
"Sure." I replied, this time there was an obvious sense of being unassured.
"I'll come with you, you know?" She said, taking my hand from across the table.
"And me with you."
"I'll always be by your side. You're actually kinda stuck with me. You'd need a restraining order if you were to want to lose me." Her comment made me laugh, replacing the look of worry with a smile.
"I doubt that will ever be necessary. I'm in love with you Elle Westend, and that isn't likely gonna change. Ever. I've needed you by my side for an awfully long time. Whatever makes you think I'd do anything to risk all we have?"
"You're a dumbass, hopeless romantic you." She said, unable to fight the smile from overcoming her face and neither could I.
