KASDEYA ARGYROS' (?) Point of View

"Now that you know my reason, would you finally let me go?"

Hindi agad kumibo si Theon. A part of me is already sure that he would still refuse since I practically confessed that I am an enemy of the Olympians, even though I'm not in Katharsis' side either.

But hope is a cruel thing that keeps my spirits high and if it gets crushed, I knew that anger would soon follow.

Theon could never change my mind anyway. Kung balak niya akong ikulong dito, mag-iisip ako ng ibang paraan para makatakas. Hindi naman ako nag-iisa dahil kahit pigilan niya ako ngayon ay hindi niya mahuhuli sina Aries.

I can play with him a little longer. I've been playing a role my whole life, this wouldn't hurt. Katulad ng sinabi ko kanina, I am already numb to the feeling.

So what's your next move, Alastor?

"Is that it?" He asks in a hushed tone. "The entire reason why you're doing this?"

"Were you expecting more, or less?" I spit back.

A sarcastic smile ghosts over Theon's face, as if our conversation isn't as dire as it looks. I can feel him tightening the grip of his large hand over my wrists. As I wriggle myself out of his hold, it only becomes impossibly harder to move.

"Think fast before I forcefully break myself away from you." I threaten, but I know it sounds empty him.

He doesn't say anything, just watches my face. Hindi ako komportable dahil sa malalim niyang titig na tila pinapanood ang bawa't paggalaw ng aking mukha.

His eyes look over my white eyes, before they drift off to stare at the remaining blood stuck on my cheeks. He moves back to meet my gaze before they could go lower.

"I'm trying to decide whether to accept or reject your ideal," His voice becomes lower. "But I can't seem to understand them."

"What are you talking about?"

I jerk violently, trying to loosen his hand over mine. I can tell he enjoys watching me squirm underneath him because it makes him feel more powerful, as if he has me under control. That pisses me off.

Natigilan ako nang bigla niyang ilapit ang kaniyang mukha. "I want to comprehend you. To know why you would think of something so extreme."

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Didn't I just tell you why?"

"Did you?" He laughs under his breathe. "Or were you only making excuses?"

A small yelp leaves my lips when he tugs on my hands harshly. "How dare you use my brother's name in vain to feed your thirst for destruction?"

Kumunot ang noo ko. I can barely see his face with the way he looks down. Tinatago ng kaniyang buhok ang mukha niya.

"You claim that the gods are the cause of our suffering, and you'll dismantle them to give us our freedom," Saad niya. "And once you succeed, then what? What would you have achieved if we are free from the immortals, but the suffering lingers?"

Nagsalubong ang mga kilay ko. Parang ako pa ang hindi nakakaintindi sa aming dalawa.

"Do you believe total annihilation would save demigods? This world and its gods might seem cruel to you, but going against nature to destroy them will only hurt us back."

Nang-angat siya ng tingin sa akin. "At the end of the day, we are still mortals. We're nothing but fleeting creatures. Even if you consider their deaths beautiful and necessary, we cannot survive without their existence.
