A.N: Hey all so I had to change a little something last chapter. I mentioned Dooku and it had slipped my mind that he is dead, something Anakin stated many chapters back. So in the last chapter when Anakin mentions he thinks it was Dooku who killed the Chancellor, I switched the name to Ventress instead (: so sorry! Sometimes I have scatter brain and forget certain things I've written—which is why I'm starting to re-read this story form the beginning to refresh my memory ❤️

Also, as far as i can remember, Luke is unaware of the deal Anakin and Ahsoka made with the night sisters so he's in the dark about that right now.

Hello, Sweet Brother

Luke's POV
I was completely overwhelmed, unsure of where to begin, and it felt like my head was about to explode from the pressure.

Sleep on it first, you must. I heard Master Yoda's words repeated in my head. He had pointed out how little rest I had been getting lately, which could explain the throbbing in my head. But how could I possibly sleep? The event I was trying to change was coming up fast, a ticking clock that seemed to mock my every effort to find a solution. And instead of making things better, I felt like I was only complicating things more.

At least before I had a clear objective and knew who to be cautious of. Now, I was completely in the dark.

Despite the anxiety hanging tight in my chest, I decided to follow Master Yoda's advice and attempt a nap, even if it's just for a few hours. I hoped that with a clearer mind, I could think more rationally and find a solution to this mess.

I let out a deep sigh as I sank into my bed, too exhausted to change out of my clothes. I forced my eyes closed, hoping for a small moment of peace. At first, I felt restless, itching to toss and turn and open my eyes; my anxious mind being my worst enemy. But eventually, I managed to calm my racing thoughts, focusing on the rhythmic sound of my breathing, and began to drift off into a much-needed sleep.

Unfortunately though, my moment of peace and quiet was short-lived. I sensed a presence, a disturbance in the air that jolted me back awake. I shot my eyes open to see a figure grinning down at me, her mischievous smile illuminated by the faint glow of the nightlight.

You have got to be kidding me.

"Hello, sweet brother. You really ought to be more vigilant. I could have been a dangerous intruder ready to kill you in your sleep," she teased, her voice dripping with mock concern.

"Leia," I groaned, using the Force to push her away as I sat up, the remnants of sleep fading fast. She glided back a few feet but caught herself just before crashing into the wall, her laughter echoing in the dimly lit room.

"How rude," she said, pretending to brush herself off.

I tossed the blanket aside and stood up. "You shouldn't be here," I said, my voice low and strained, a desperate attempt to remain quiet. The last thing I wanted was to alarm anyone in the surrounding rooms.

She leaned back against the wall, looking completely at ease, as if she had all the time in the galaxy. "Well, technically, neither are you," she replied, holding a smirk. Her casual demeanor only fueled my frustration.
