Y/n's POV

Happy came over with a book in his hands saying that it was his favorite book. I looked at him, seeing him holding up the Rabbit and Turtle book. "Would you be so kind as to hand over the book?" Someone said. 

"I'm not giving this to some random stranger!" Happy shouted.

"Hpmh, I don't find your joke to be very amusing." The person replied. The door to the room broke open before falling to the ground. "What's going on?" Dad asked.

"The door handle just blew up." Gray answered.

"What a rudimentary understanding. What happened was the handle expanded to twice its size, which in turn broke down the door." The person said. As I looked to see who was talking, I noticed it was an exceed and not another person. "Woah... That's crazy. He's an exceed." Happy said.

"I don't believe it." Carla added.

"Would you look at that? It's surprising to see another exceed here." Sapphire added.

"He doesn't look like anyone I remember seeing in Extalia." Happy said.

"It has been seven years, so maybe he's new." I suggested.

"He wasn't there. He must've hatched from one of the eggs that was sent to Earthland all those years ago, just like us." Carla corrected.

"Tell us who you are." Dad demanded.

"The brains of the legion platoon. The name's Samuel." Samuel said, introducing himself.

"So you clowns came snooping around for us, after all." Gray commented.

"Give back what you stole from us!" Dad demanded.

"Dad, that's not going to...." I started.

"I'll pass." Samuel interrupted.

"Say what!" Dad shouted.

"I consider this an amazing feat. Really quite spectacular played. I mean, I was certain you'd do as I predicted by coming here and finding a clue. So of course you found one. I amaze myself." Samuel said. Gray activated his magic, preparing for a fight. "Can I turn him into a cat-sicle?" Gray asked.

"Only if I can barbeque him as soon as you're done." Dad responded.

"You ready?" Celestia asked.

"I am." Big sis answered, requipping into different armor.

"Wait, hold on..." I started.

"Then let's go! Ice make: Lance!" Gray shouted.

"You'll get nothing more from us." Big sis said, shooting lightning magic towards Samuel.

"Fire Dragon Roar!" Dad shouted. I sighed as they all attacked before someone jumped in front of Samuel. Everyone's spells hit something, coming to a stop before being redirected away from what they hit. I tried to form the Water Dragon Aqua Shield to protect the study, but some spells escaped and broke some of the walls. "Don't ruin everything! I just decided that my number one goal in life is to buy this p[lace back some day." Mom said.

"Sorry, I tried to stop most of the spells." I said.

"Thank you and you did great, sweetie, but these three caused the damage." Mom said, looking at me. 

"What just happened? Some guy came out of nowhere and deflected our attacks." Gray said.

"Some guy? I'm the spearhead of the Legion Platoon. My name is Dan Straight, so check me out." Dan said.

"Another personality disorder?" Happy asked.

"You guys saw what I did with my shield, right? It's called Ricochet. Get it? This baby takes any attack you can throw at it and sends it right back at ya." Dan explained.
