(Yn's pov)
This was crazy. All of it was just crazy. Sonya swearing for the first time from what we know, and getting mad, Beth seeming like she had finally realized something but not knowing what, a boy was in the spring as well as we also trusted this boy now. And for the most breaking part, Xemina was dead. She was the first, kind of, to trust Aris, right after she punched him of course. Through and after all that, then it definitely was not the time to tell Beth that Rachel was not the one to come with the idea of getting the shader, rather that it was Aris. She would be furious that we decided to trust this "Untrustable" boy.
I looked around to see how Aris was doing with the whole thing, but I couldn't find him. Weird.
"Uh Sonya, do you know-" -Yn
"What? What else is there to want from me?" -Sonya
"Just wondering if you knew where Aris is, I cant see him" -Yn
"Oh... sorry, I didn't-" -Sonya
"I think I saw him go with Rachel into the forest a while ago when Sonya was finished with his wounds. Didn't see them come back, but they must have by now" -Harriet
"I saw them going into one of the huts" -Random girl
"Thanks, and don't worry about it Sonya" -Yn
"O-okay?" -Sonya
I walked away and could still see how confused and in some way sad Sonya was. Of course she was sad, she hated to be mad at people and now she'd just been mad at a few more than one. I do think though that she calmed down.
When I walked into the hut where I was told Aris and Rachel were, I saw them with some sort of a metal cylinder form covered in some goo and weird blue blood stuff.
"What is that? And how the hell did you get it" -Yn
"We got it from the shader, cut it open to find it" -Aris
"Have you gotten insane?!" -Yn
I didn't realize how loud I'd said that before both Sonya and Harriet were in the hut with us as well as another icer or two.
"What's that?" -Harriet
"We think this might help get us out" -Rachel
"That wasn't the question. Where did you get that and what is it?" -Sonya
"They got it from a shader" -Yn
"What?!" -Harriet
"Aris? Rachel? What? You don't mean that do you?" -Sonya
"We thought it could help us find a way-" -Aris
None of them got to explain more before we heard screams from outside. It was the other girls, obviously.
"SHADER!!" -Girl
"No wait fuck I'm so sorry, I- I pressed the bu-butten" -Rachel
"Shiiiiiit, not good whyyyy?!" -Yn
"Shader?! No no nonononono!" -Sonya
"Aris you killed the one we had in the forest right?!" -Harriet
"Well I kind of assumed it was dead?" -Aris
"You said you cut it open!" -Yn
"I mean yeah but that was in the stomach, I-I don't know if it's dead" -Aris
"We are so dead now" -Harriet
We run out and see not only the one Aris had cut in limping around, wings flapping but getting nowhere, but also so many other shaders.
"Rachel!" -Beth
"Beth stop, you don't know what you're doing" -Yn
"What is it with Beth?" -Rachel
"She thinks it was your idea to get the shader, I thought she had calmed down since then" -Yn
"Yn look at her, she's been bitten" -Harriet
"ENOUGH, with the chit-chat, Rachel you are gonna die. All of this is your fault, going in the maze with a stick, Ximena died of it, retrieve a 'dead' shader ad bring it back, and then lastly this"-Beth
"Beth please, you're not thinking clea-" -Sonya
"If any of you want to survive I would suggest starting to run" -Alexandra
I hadn't noticed Alexandra was here, she'd been so quiet. She ran away from us but with no luck. One of the shaders was quick to duck down and pick her up in its mouth, it just ate her alive.
"Alexandra!" -Sonya
"Look look, a helicopter! It's here for us" -Harriet
"Fucking run, all of you!" -Yn
We ran up and jumped into the helicopter, but Rachel's leg made her slower and the helicopter was already getting away leaving our dead friends on the ground. Rachel was hanging half out of the helicopter and that was enough for Beth to shoot her, by the time we got her completely in, she was dead...
