October 31st, 2018.

6:45 PM.

You and Satoru are at home, his arm wrapped around your shoulder as you both sit on the couch, scrolling through your phones. You two were finding a restaurant to go to. "Pizza..?" He asked, you glanced up from your phone and nodded with a small smile. "Pizza is a good option... Ooh, steak?" He nodded, "That's a good option too.."

You sighed, looking at him.

"Too much to pick from..."

He chuckled, leaning over to place a soft kiss on your lips, "We can spin a wheel, worst comes to work... We'll order everything we want." He grinned, flashing you a proud smile for his brilliant plan.

You chuckled, nodding, leaning into his shoulder as you made yourself comfortable on your couch. You took a deep breath, smelling his cologne... His scent was addictive, the way your bodies melted next to each other was addictive... You loved every single thing about him.

You looked up at him, into his blue eyes.

He looked down at yours, chuckling. "What's got you staring up at me, cutie? Something going on in your mind?"

You shook your head, chuckling. "No... Just... Nothing." You smiled, looking back down at your phone.

He tilted his head, a curious smile playing on his lips before leaning in to kiss the top of your head.

7:00 PM

You and Satoru went to a restaurant in Shinjuku, well-known for its upscale restaurants in the Skyscraper District. He took you to a restaurant for some steak, as you two eventually decided on that.

You sat down in your chair, and he sat in his. He held your hand in his across the table as you two ordered. You smiled at him innocently, talking.. and talking...

Little did you know...

A sudden chill pricked your skin, an unwelcome guest in the warm, perfect moment. Satoru's hand enveloped yours, his sweet words weaving a cocoon of safety, the city lights twinkling outside like distant stars. Yet, the unease gnawed at you. What was wrong?

'Nothing, probably nothing.'

You shook it off, and returned to your conversation with him, smiling at him. However... the feeling lingered, like a shadow.

8:10 PM

You and Satoru were now leaving the restaurant, his hand firmly yet gently holding yours as you made your way out. He looked over at you, smiling. "Good dinner, huh?" He leaned over, placing a kiss on your temple. You nodded in response, chuckling. "It was! So, should we head home and watch a movie??" You eagerly looked up at him, and he chuckled, nodding.

Just as you were about to tease him about dessert, his phone buzzed, slicing through the moment. Satoru sighed, pulling it out. 'Ugh, higher-ups,' he muttered before answering. "Yes?" He said with a sigh.

"Is Y/N with you as well?" A higherup asked, as if he was rushed.

"Yeah?" He asked as you two walked to your car, his arm wrapped around you protectively.

"I need both of you two hear me."

He raised his eyebrow, "Alright... give me a second." He rushed you to sit in the car, and once inside, put him on speaker. "Alright, we can hear you."

The higherup took a deep breath.

"A curtain has been spread over Shibuya, it allows sorcerers to enter and exit at will, but non-sorcerers are trapped... The veil is... advanced, we can't shatter it. So... we need to defeat whoever cast it." He paused for a moment, before continuing. "Due to the advanced veil, we're guessing that the same Disaster Curses who attacked at the Kyoto Goodwill event are responsible for this, and..." He sighed, "Whoever did plan this, or whichever group... have convinced everyone to chant... your name, Gojo. They're saying... 'Bring Satoru Gojo.'"
