You cried, for quiet some time until you felt less hurt, washing your face you looked at you puffed up eyes " They ache." you grumbled and splashed your face with water once again. Taking a shower you put on a change of clothes, clothes your size have never felt better, leaving your room you walked to the cafeteria ' Should I go to the dorm room and tell them I'm fine? No Ego has probably already talked to them.' you thought continuing your way.

Filling your plate you couldn't really bring yourself to eat, you just kept messing with your food " I should just slam my neck down that damn chopstick." you mumbled and you heard something fall and clatter to the ground from behind you " Ah sorry I didn't mean to interrupt." said the dark skinned boy gathering his fallen tray ' Loki!' you thought eyes widening " You didn't really interrupt me from anything. I should apologize, for making you drop your tray." you replied and the boy smiled " The Japanese are so polite. Your English is pretty good too." he said and you nodded in thanks ' I would be more excited but I can't bring myself being happy about anything right now.' you thought continuing to mess with your food " Is it fine if I sit with you? The rest of my teammates are quiet the rude adults." he said and you scooted to the side.

Taking the invitation the boy sat next to you " My name is Julian Loki. Yours?" he asked " Oh, sorry. ( Y/n ) ( L.... Just ( Y/n)." you said correcting yourself, the bitterness from before resurfacing " Are you a manager here? Helping to coach?" he asked and you gave him a look eyeing your uniform " I'm a player, actually tomorrow you'll be up against my team." you said and the boy looked at you wide eyes " I know our chances to win are slim, that much is for sure considering everyone's level. But I'm not planning on giving you an easy victory." you said smirking slightly and the boy mirrored your mischievous expression " You think you have a chance to win?" he asked and you laughed " Will see." you teased.

With Loki as company you managed to find your appetite " What's up?" he asked spotting you looking at him " I was wondering about your hair, they look kinda fluffy from up close even though their shaved on the sides." you pointed out and the boy run his hands threw his hair " Maybe it's the shampoos I use. Wanna touch it?" he asked and chuckled seeing your cheeks flush " No it's fine." you said going back to focusing on your food. You yelped when he got hold of your hand and placed it against the side cut " They are pretty soft." you mumbled and he smiled " What was that?" he asked and you quickly snatched your hand back " N-nothing! It's late just finish your food and let's head back." you mumbled quickly shoving bite after bite in your mouth.

Once done you got rid of your trays " Thank you for letting me sit with you. You were nice company" said Loki and you nodded " Thank you as well, I haven't really been feeling all that good but you lightened my mood. I'll see you tomorrow in the field-" " Call me Julian, see you on the field Ma biche." he said giving you a little wave ' I didn't get the last part. I didn't inherit the understanding of any other languages other than Japanese and English so...' you thought heading back to your own room.

You slept like a log, all that had happened yesterday packed with your crying had exhausted you so it wasn't that hard to fall asleep. Entering lockerooms you found yourself alone, changing you put on the athletic vest ' Anri was right. It's less tight but still effective.' you thought adjusting the band and putting your shirt and top with your teams color ' Should I wait for them or...no I'll just head to the field and wait there. I don't want to have to deal with all those reactions before the game.' you thought sighing heavily.

Stepping to the field you found the opposing team already there talking among themselves, spotting you Loki perked up and waved at you " Hey where's the rest of your team?" he asked leaving the others " They're probably getting ready. I just stepped out earlier to avoid....It's complicated." you said rubbing the back of your head. You blinked in surprise as the boy got shoved aside " Hey I know you, you're Itoshi Sae's girl!" said Leonardo Luna and you coughed " Come again?" you said " You're his girl right? He has you photo as his lock screen." he said and you shook your head red faced " I'm sorry! But you have misunderstood something, me and Sae-chan are just childhood friends!" you said and laugh echoed " Sae-chan? How cute, hey miss manager give me a cute nickname too." he said coming a little too close for comfort " I'm not a manager. I'm a player." you said tagging on your shirt.

The men with the exception of Loki laughed " Ah, come on there miss don't joke around. How about you bring us some refreshments. The match will be quick." said Dada patting your head " Maybe your number as well, ah wait how old are you again?" asked Blake and you clenched your fist as your eyebrow twitched and you smacked Dada's hand away " Words seem to be pointless with you lot so I'll just show you on the field. Also 17 to 18 but it's creepy asking, you're an old man." you said and laughed echoed again " Fiesty huh? And you don''t look the part." laughed Dada " I'm not that old, I'm 26." mumbled Blake sweatdroping at your comment.

All of you turned to the direction of the door ' Finally their here.' you thought in slight relief, Dada laughed again " Damn they're scrawnier than I thought. The little miss might actually be part of  the team." he mocked " See? The Japanese aren't known to be muscular at all. Now pay up the 10 grand you owe me. You lost the bet." huffed Adam. Rin tugged you back " Are you ok? What happened?" he asked you glaring at the other team " Long story short I'm staying but I got disowned. Let's just get on with the game." you said going to get in position " ( L/n)-" " I'm sure you can't call me that anymore mister protagonist." you said.

" It feels like they are making fun of us." mumbled Aryu " They are." you said " I wonder what they're talking about." mumbled Bachira and the went up to the two other players " Hey what do you mean? Is this like a part time job for you?" and you flinched " Rin-chan is no use getting riled up with them. They only came here to mess around." you said but the boy didn't budge " I'm gonna crush you all. So much so that this little trip of yours will be a traumatic memory." he snapped and you shook your head as he talked with Leonardo " Ah sorry, I was complementing you, you know. To gamble your life on something that might not even come true. You guys must be total masochists." mocked the blond " For your pretty face you sure have a nasty personality." you spat glaring at him " I don't really get it..." mumbled Aryu " What I get is that we're getting ridiculed." said Bachira. 

Leoardo was ready to take a step close until Loki slightly pushed him back " That's enough Luna, you're taking it too far." said Loki and walked up to your team " Sorry everyone this guy has a nasty personality.Putting those selfish grown ups aside, it's nice to meet you." he said shaking Isagi's hand " It's nice to meet you as well." mumbled your teammate " Your accent is pretty cute Julian." you said and the boy flushed a bit " Ma biche. You're not playing fair, but let's have a good game." he said making you chuckled a bit and with that, you all went to get into position.
