You dropped to your knees trying to catch your breath " ( Y/n)!" called Isagi and you turned around, the boy was panting heavily eyes widen and sparkling " Did you see me?" he asked and you couldn't help but smile " Clearly." you said as Igagury came to take him saying that they wanted him over for an interview. The boy gave you a look and you waved him away " I'm all good, go live your moment mister protagonist." you said and the boy nodded.

" Can you stand?" asked Aiku and you shook your head " Come on." he said helping you up and supporting you as you followed the others. You stopped seeing Ego motioning you over " H-hey." you greeted and yelped when the man lightly smacked you on the head " Do you have something against your health?" asked the man as the Blue Lock players continued to celebrate in the back " I don't know what you're talking about." you said trying to fake ignorance and the man sighed before awkwardly placing a hand on your shoulder " Recklessness aside, good job out there. You really told that old fuck to fuck off." he said thrusting a finger towards the VIP seats where you could see Buratsuta simply loosing it. Seeing the greedy man completely crashing out you both chuckled.

Hair dripping as you got out of the shower dressed Aiku stopped you and shook a first aid kit at you " Huh? Did you get hurt?" asked Shendo and you shook your head " Nah, just a little cramp." you lied as Aiku raised the sleeve of your trousers a bit, smacking the ice on making you yelp " That does not look like anything little." scolded Darai as the team looked over your swollen and bruised ankle and you swatted them away the embarrassment of your stupid decision finally kicking in.

The coach walked in " Even though you lost, you did a good job. Ego-chan there is a family member waiting for you." he said and you nodded " It's probably Shin." you mumbled and walked out " HEY! We need to bandage it up! Also dry your hair!" yelled Aiku receiving weird looks from the rest of his team " Now this is new." mused Darai and Nio laughed " Are you her dad or something?" asked the other defender " Shut up." he cursed jokingly grabbing a clean towel and heading after you.

You stopped in your tracks body instantly tensing up "Mo- What are you doing here?" you asked the older woman and you looked around for Shin " After my son urged me on I came to see you play." she said and some hope grew in your heart only to be crashed immediately " What a ridiculous display that was." she scoffed " Now you just made things worse for yourself, one single mistake and you will be dragged threw the mud. If Shin was in your place there would have been nothing to worry about and the team obviously wouldn't have lost." she spat and you gritted your teeth " Can't you just be happy for me once?" you mumbled and you hissed when the woman took hold of your shirt.

" Happy for what? You stealing another chance from your brother? Embarrassing me in front of the entire word?" she asked and you could feel your body tremble as you tried to fight back your tears " You can still save the little pride we have. You made your point you can play to a degree, now drop out and come home and since that weird man has such a week spot for you, you can convince him to do the right thing and take Shin in." she said.

You laughed, a bitter laugh " What's so funny?" she asked " You're telling me to come back home and you're ordering me around but with what authority? You disowned me, you immediately signed papers to have me adopted without even considering what will happen to me. You're worried about me embarrassing you but you were the one that has severed any connection between us and with out hesitation." you said. The slap echoed in the hallway as the grip on your shirt tighten " This whole thing is ridiculous! You ungrateful brat!" she screamed " You may see it as the wrong thing, or ridiculous, or embarrassing. But for once I am happy." you said and she shoved you back. With your ankle bruised and battered and just having played a full match, you lost your balance and fall back " Don't come crying to me when you're ridiculed and thrown a away. You waste of time for a child." she spat " That I am." you mumbled smiling threw your tears as she left.

A towel was dropped over your head, your eyes widen and you went to turn your head " Told you to dry your hair." said Aiku keeping your head ahead as he rubbed your hair with the towel " Please....don't tell anyone." you mumbled and he sighed " Of course I won't. My lips are sealed shut, other than you and me nobody will hear of this. Ok?" he said and softly helped you up " Come on, you're going to get dehydrated. Let's get that ankle of yours bandaged up." he said and you nodded as he whipped your tears away.  But it wasn't just the two of you, from the corner opposite of the one you two someone sat pressed against the wall, teeth gritted and fists clenched.

Ego had texted you to meet them at the apartment and bring your things along, Sae and Shidou weren't that happy that you had to leave but you promised to meet up, the blond making a complete show of getting your number. Speaking about your phone the thing was bussing like crazy to the point you decided to turn it off until you managed to rest, you thanked the taxi driver and took a look at the apartment complex before whistling ' Damn....he's loaded.' you thought as you entered and took the elevator up.

Opening the door you mumbled a quiet " I'm home." before taking off you're shoes " Ah! ( Y/n)-chan you came a little earlier. It's ok, the food is almost ready." said Anry holding a wooden spoon " You're cooking?" you asked her and she nodded " Ego-san wanted to order take out but since this is a celebratory dinner I thought it would be better for it to be home cooked." she smiled as you followed her into the kitchen.

On the table Ego was typying away like crazy " Sooo, shouldn't you be with the team celebrating?" you asked him as he looked up from the screen " They are having their time back at Blue Lock. This is a celebratory dinner for you." he said motioning for you to sit down across from him " My team lost." you noted feeling a little irritated " Yes, but you won your battle. Showing everyone why you're here and leaving them no room to argue about it." he said and you blinked in surprise " Foods ready!" cheered Anri placing the platter down and serving you.

You and the older woman stared in absolute disgust as the man filled his plate with sauce " What are you doing?" you asked him as he flicked the veggies to the side " Don't judge me that's just my eating habits." he said and you turned to look at Anri who was trying to hold back her anger " ENOUGH! I WORKED HARD ON MAKING THIS FOR ( Y/N)! YOU'RE GOING TO IT LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE EATEN!" she yelled snatching the plate away and placing a fresh one down.

The two argued and you chuckled before you bursted out laughing as the man tried to explain to Anri why he was eating as he was, having a spoonful shoved in his mouth when he tried to tell her to fuck off. The two adults looked at you surprised, Anri smiling happily while Ego letting out a sigh of defeat and taking a bite.
