X Factor (2011)
Jesy competed at X Factor with the song 'Bust Your Windows' by Jazmine Sullivan in Glasgow. She received praise from Tulisa Contostavalos and Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow but was not impressed at all. Nevertheless Jesy could move into Boot Camp, where they however failed as a solo artist.
It was a four-member group called 'faux pas' formed in their later bandmate Perrie Edwards. Faux pas was not successful. Fortunately, both Jesy and Perrie was asked to form a new four-member girl group called Rhythmix with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
While X Factor Jesy was the victim of an online campaign against them. Jesy been exposed nasty comments and visibly upset, she received huge support not only of mixers (her fanbase name), but also of other music fans.
Little Mix won X Factor and released her winning single Cannonball.
