X Factor (2011)

Leigh-Anne competed in London for The X Factor UK. She sang the song Only Girl (In The World) by Rihanna and received four Yes's and made it thus into Boot Camp. Leigh-Anne remembered her audition: "I was sick and thought I would never make it but I went out and it just worked." Leigh-Anne and the other girls from Little Mix, did not make it through the first Bootcampchallege and as independent groups have been established, the faux pas and Orion (in Leigh-Anne was welcomed. The two groups did not make it through the judges house. However, was taken at the last second, the decision to merge two members to a third ensemble of two groups. Rythmix which later renamed itself in Little Mix, made it to the Judges House and in the live shows. In the fourth live show, the band announced that they have renamed Little Mix since there was already a charity organization called Rhythmix.

Little Mix became the first (and so far only) band The X Factor UK.
