As soon as the sun rose, Mingi opened his eyes to see Angeline's beautiful figure. Her black bonnet covered her hair but she had a few curls that fell out and he adored seeing them fall in front of her face. Mingi missed seeing her face so much that he forgot how beautiful she looked. Her very presence in his bed made him nervous but calm. He's never seen someone so ethereal let alone have the blessing to know a woman like Angeline. Now that they are bonded forever, gave him a sense of pride in knowing that he belonged to her and only her.
For some odd reason, he wanted to touch her and be closer than before. It wasn't enough to stare but rather comfort her. Judging by the sensations from her body, he felt that she was under a lot of stress and discomfort.
"You're awake," One eye was peeking at him before Angeline opened both of them. "Good morning, dork." She smiled at him.
The sunlight from the window caused her to squint but she soon adjusted to the sun. Mingi continued to adore her with his eyes.
"You are so beautiful." His voice was soft.
He reached out to play with her curls, then his fingers went to her cheeks, and he soon traced the outline of her plump pink lips.
Mingi thought that he was probably making her feel uncomfortable because this was so intimate but Angeline was enjoying every minute of his touch.
He was about to pull his hand away from her but she grabbed it. Mingi was shocked by her reaction nonetheless he let her do whatever she wanted. Angeline locked eyes with him and then gently kissed each of his knuckles. He kept his eyes on her the whole time while she continued to adore him.
Eventually, he lifted her chin and caressed her cheek. The two vampires stared at each other in silence. Finding love in their eyes, falling for the warmth of their affection, and being able to feel emotions they have never felt before.
Before things got intense a huge knock on the door caused them to separate.
"Rise and shine, Mingi!" Brian's voice was heard from the other side and they giggled at each other.
"See ya later?" Mingi tilted his head causing the blonde locks to fall in his face.
Angeline nodded out of response, not wanting to speak.
While Mingi was getting out of bed, Angeline couldn't help but look at his tattooed arms. The black sleeveless shirt he had on didn't help hide away his toned body. He looked so much healthier, brighter, and sexier.
"Yeah, I got tattoos. Brian did them for me," Mingi bites his bottom lip as he watches the way Angeline looks at him.
"They look really good on you." She smiled widely still taking in his morning glow.
