Devadriptya slowly came towards her measuring each and every step. She could feel his harsh breaths which were making a sound in the whole room.

"Aap kya chahti hai, hum khudki jaan lele ya kisi aur ki?" (What do you think, I should kill myself or someone else)

Devadriptya was checking her up from head to toe.

His sharp gaze and dominating aura made her stomach flip in nervousness. He stepped forward as she clutched her saree under her fist tightly without stepping back. He was giving her time to make some explanations but she didn't. She was standing there lowering her head.

"Why don't you wear the saree which I gave you?"

His voice was cold enough to make her shiver.

"I__It was my choice. I already told you not to come c__closer to me and you won't interfere in my life"

She stammered a little but covered it up immediately as she didn't want him to show herself a coward in front of him.

The dead silence in the room was making her uncomfortable. She was calculating his next move from his features. She could feel his anger was rising up from time to time but still she didn't back off.

Varshini knew, it was the silence before the storm and truth to be told, she wasn't ready for it. She was now well aware of his sudden actions after watching him all these weeks which weren't so pleasant.

His vision caught the sight of the gift box which he sent for her and she skillfully rejected him. Stepping forward towards it, he took the box in his hand.

"Apke khwabon mein chahe koi bhi ho, lekin haqiqat mein sirf hum honge" (Whoever is in your dreams, I'm your destiny)

Chill ran down through her spine hearing his warning tone.

Devadriptya threw the box on the floor as a beautiful red saree came out of it. Then he took out a lighter and burnt the saree in front of her eyes. His dark brown orbs which were now filled with anger and jealousy clashed with her charcoal black ones.

The incident made her numb as her limbs stopped working for a moment. The reddish orange flames turned the beautiful saree into ashes. She was looking at it with her widened eyes and then again at him.

"I have given you time for us and for accepting this marriage but I haven't given you the liberty to think about other men when you're with me"

She understood very well what he was talking about.

"Hum hamari patni ko kisike bhi sath bant nehi sakte chahe woh koi apna hi kiyun na ho" (I won't share my wife with anyone even if he is someone closest to me)
