7. WE CAN WHAT?!?!?!?!

I was the first to wake up. After taking a shower I found my stuff. I couldn't help but smile at Hoshiko's sleeping form as I get dressed in the outfit she chose for me yesterday. I don't know much about my new half-sister but one thing was for sure. She has great taste in clothes and an eye for fashion. The outfit was fashionable, comfortable and didn't restrict movement whatsoever. I glance at her again. I couldn't help but notice the dark circles and bags under her eyes. Hoshiko did say she had trouble sleeping the last few nights but, it looked like she hadn't slept very well for a while. Lucy turned in her sleep and stopped hugging Hoshiko. After a minute, the small girl started to whimpering and muttered something. I walked over to hear it better. "No-pl-please-no-no-stop-it-please-stop-it-pl-please-stop-it-STOP IT!" She went from whimpering to screaming bloody murder. Needless to say, Lucy woke up and immediately tried to shake her awake but, it only seemed to make worse. I had a hunch. I quickly wrap my arms around her. Lucy does the same. 10 seconds later she calms down, and becomes the angel she was last night when she fell asleep in our arms. We share a look of shocked amazement. I seriously doubted that would work but it did. But the real question was, Why? We gently shake her awake. Her eyes flutter open. She saw our concerned expressions and bit her lip. "I was screaming bloody murder, wasn't I?" She asked biting her lip, looking down embarrassed. We were shocked, so shocked we let go of her. In which she used to escape is and started making breakfast for us. She knew she did this? I shared a look with Luce. She nodded in understanding. We approach her when she's not near sharp utensils or frying pans. Lucy takes a quick shower and gets dressed in her outfit. And once again I was in awe of Hoshiko's outfit choices fit us to a T. We go though the rest of the cottage. Turns out there was a second level which had its own kitchenette, 2 full bathrooms, and a bedroom with 2 beds. It's so cozy and comfortable. We walk back to our kitchenette and realize not only did she have good taste in clothes but also in food. Laid out before us was fruit salad, pancakes, waffle, scrambled eggs, hash browns, Greek yogurt, and sausage. Realizing how hungry we were, we grabbed a little bit of everything and dig in. I do not know how it was possible but it tasted even better than it looked. And it looked like a professional cook made it. I heard the shower running. So, I figured she was in the shower. We help ourselves to a second helping. She came out in jeans and plaid button-up shirt. She grabbed herself plenty of food and dug in. She finish her food and had seconds. Then took her dishes to the sink and hand washed them and sat back down. "What I had this morning was pretty much the only downside to being me." She said putting her chin on her arms. We were shocked to have her bring it up. We finish our breakfast and Lucy cleans them so I can talk to her some more. "What was it exactly?" I asked. She sighed. "We possess the rare and incredible gift only 3 others have ever had, all of them considered Celestial Royalty and are related to us." She said.  "And that is..." Asked Lucy as she sat down. "Wecandissolvecelestialcontracts." Lucy laughed. I look at her weird. "Sorry but it almost sounded like she said we can dissolve celestial contracts." She explained still laughing. I'm pretty sure my eyes were bugging out. "WE CAN WHAT?!?!?!" I screamed. Hoshiko covered her ears and had a pained expression on her face. "Okay one I have the hearing of a dragon god so please refrain from DESTROYING MY EARDRUMS!" She yelled now we had to cover our ears. She took a deep breathe and calmed down. "And secondly we can only dissolve contracts in cases of: abuse, over/underuse, taking advantage of, or general misuse. She said calmly, counting them on her fingers. Lucy stopped laughing. "You're serious?" She asked in a hushed whisper. I was just speechless. She solemnly nods, goes to the book case and grabbed a thick leather book. She brings it over. "This is The Book of Athena. Olive, will answer practically any question you can throw at her but don't be too hard on her about what she doesn't know cuz she's very sensitive about it. Even though there's only one or two things she doesn't know cuz she's awesome!" She said showing us the book. "Um, did you just call the book a she?" Asked Luce. "Yes, she did and FYI I have a name and it's Olive." Said the book who transformed into an 18-year old girl with brown hair with olive green highlights and grey eyes. "Olive, do you mind explaining things while I get things for the trip home in order?" She asked politely. Olive smiled warmly at her and nodded. "Thank you, Olive I leave my sisters' education in all things us in your completely capable hands." She said giving her a quick one arm hug before walking upstairs "Alrighty then, I'm just gonna scan your brains to see what you do know so this will go faster. Because I HATE disappointing Hoshi and l try to avoid it at all costs." She explains as she walks over and touches our foreheads. A moment later she stopped. "Okay a lot to explain but I will start will the questions you have right now concerning contracts. Alright, with you guys?"  She asked. I nodded hesitatingly. I was confused. Why would she hate disappointing Hoshiko. As if she was reading my mine, Lucy asked that exactly question. "Why do you hate disappointing her?" Lucy asked cocking her head to the side. Olive looked down at her hands which were well-manicured. "Hoshi, that's what she prefers to be called FYI not Princess or Hoshiko or whatever, is the type of girl who's just well the best kind of person there is. She's kind, caring, honest, will help anyone who needs help in any way she can and well doesn't doubt anyone on what they can and can not do. Hoshi, she's, she, she is an easy person TO trust but it's not easy to get her to trust you. Once you have it you treasure it above all else like she does with yours. That's why I hate disappointing her, cause she hasn't disappointed me or anyone yet nor do I think she will anytime soon." As she said this a small smile appeared on her lips. We were just shocked they would have never thought Hoshiko's was that wonderful. "Well, I find it's always best to start from the beginning.
You see the world's first type magic was celestial magic. The spirits could once walk the earth with ease and taught you every type of magic they had ever been but when we did. You thought we would try to take in away from you, so you tried to destroy us but knew you couldn't beat us in a straight up attack of any sorts. But you unknowingly did sent us away. When you became corrupt the earth became tainted with the 7 deathly sins which all but killed us and death would have been a kinder fate than what we had. So, we had to flee. But not all were tainted and corrupted those who stood up to they wicked ones were given a gift. To call us in times of need and sorrow. Working and fight beside each other we defeated the wicked ones and peace was brought into the world. But as time when on the kind ones became even more resentful and cruel than the wicked ones. They did not kill us, no they enslaved us, tortured us, denying us the end to our suffering we so desired. All but 3 fell to the darkness. They helped us fight willing to put their own lives to protect us. Together they found a way to end or dissolve unjust contracts. But only unjust ones, so the temptation of power would not control them. As it did with the others. Combining their powers they defeated them and and once again peace came. The spirit's thanked them and asked if they would became their rulers for during the final battle their ruler died. They knew at least one had to stay behind to rule and protect them. They each were willing to go and rule so the other 2 could continue their lives they had back on earth. But it was the youngest one, Kyrie, that stayed but not before all three we given gifts and titles. The eldest had helped strategized every battle was given the gift of sun magic, the sacred magic of rebirth, earth, light, lighting, and fire. And became the Queen of the fairies, The Celestial Sun Fairy, Mavis Vermillion. (Lucy gasped) The next one was had unwavering strength and bravery in battle but instead of using to rule others. She used it to protect those who can not protect themselves. She was blessed with Moon Magic, the sacred magic of time, shadows, sky, iron, and ice. She gained the title, Queen of the Wild, the Moon Saber, Daniella Brava. (I gasped) Finally, the youngest girl, was given Star Magic, Celestial Magic in its purest form, the most powerful magic of all and can control anything and everything. And was dubbed the name Kyrie Angela Celestial Star Dragon Queen. The three tearfully said good-bye and never saw their friend again until they died. They both started respectable guilds and after death continued to watch over them when they weren't busy ruling their domain but the thing was Kyrie was not immortal she aged slowly yes but not invincible, she had loving husband, her ex-spirit, Drago, father and king of All Dragons. They had many children, but non seemed fit, nor were willing to take the throne, not but the youngest, a special girl, named Harmony. She took the throne upon her mother's death bed and aloud her many siblings to go to earth to live. For many year she was happy ruling along side her mate jackson together they had two sons, the first Celestial king who rules to this very day. But sadly the children of the 3 Queens only pasted her power down to one of her children and they didn't seem to past it on at all. until almost 30 earth years ago. When a baby girl was born the the line of Mavis Vermillion on her mother's side. A princess with Chocolate brown eyes, and golden blonde hair. Then 7 years later another girl, born from Daniella's line on her father's side. A princess with icy blue hair and copper eyes. And 6 years ago, a third was hatched from all three lines. A princess with Chocolate Brown hair and chocolate/copper eyes. Together they can continue their ancestors job and protect the spirits from mankind's cruelty." She tells us this story with all these facts and the first thing that I question was... "Hatched?" I asked. Olive sighs. "Celestial spirit are not born like humans. They are hatched from eggs with true love and understanding. When your parents got married they decided to get an egg and give the kingdom a heir to the throne, in case you didn't want to rule. The king knew your parents very well and loved them both like a brother and sister. He decided to personally hand the egg to your parents but when all 3 sets hands touched the egg. It lit up like a Christmas tree and immanently hatched from the combined love of your parents and the family love of the 3 of them. In front of everyone a small girl poked her little head though the hole. She had the Kings hair and her parents combined eyed color. And thus, a princess of all three lines was born." She explained. "This is a lot to process can we stop for a bit. Olive nods and leave the room.
