       "Where's Dr. Hedo?" Gamma 2 looked back to Gamma 1 with wide eyes. Both Gammas hesitated, looking around with their sensors. "I can't find his signature."

"Maybe he went after Magenta, they've both been gone for a while—" Gamma 1 was cut off as the earth beneath their feet suddenly rumbled. "What was that?"

The ground began to shake, as if the very Earth itself would split apart, as if something beneath the surface were trying to escape. Piccolo glanced at the Gammas, looking for an answer to what was going on, but they were just as clueless as the rest.

Suddenly, a jet bike rose from the crevice where Piccolo had been fighting early, flying straight at them. It sputtered, losing power as it came crashing, skidding across the ground, the Gammas both realizing immediately who it was.

"Run!" Dr. Hedo called out, trying to pull his leg from the wrecked jet bike. "Everybody, run! Cell Max has been activated!"

"What?" Gamma 1's eyes widened, a cold dread suddenly falling over him. Just as soon as Dr. Hedo spoke, the sky fell dark, the sun disappearing into a starless sky. The rumbling grew louder, like something was about to tear free from the ground below.

Just beyond the base of the Red Ribbon army, where the ground opened up and went deep into the Earth, something rose from the depths. A monster, almost too big to even be believable, and power that seemed unreal to match it. To Piccolo and the others, it was a face all too familiar, as they could only stare with wide eyes, the sick sinking feeling of dread suffocating the air.

"S-Someone made another Cell?" 18 gasped, stumbling backwards as her heart hammered against her chest.

The monster, Cell Max, stared down at them for a moment, before letting out a deafening roar, the sound alone shaking the very ground. His power exploded all around him in an energy the likes of which they had never seen. Just his energy alone began to rip and tear everything apart as it grew, and Dr. Hedo was caught in it.

"NO! DR. HEDO!" Gamma 2 cried out, both Gammas taking off straight for him. Ripping through Cell Max's energy, they charged for Dr. Hedo, but just before they could reach him, Cell Max's energy exploded, blowing them back. Gamma 2 grunted as he landed on his feet, skidding to the ground. Checking for Dr. Hedo's signature once more, a wave of both anger and terror gripped him as he whipped his head around, searching.

"Looks like we've still got a fight on our hands," Piccolo spoke as he dug his hand into his sash. Pulling out a senzu bean, Piccolo tossed it to Gohan. "Here, take this."

"A-Ah wait, I can't see, my glasses!" Gohan cried out as he stumbled in an attempt to catch the senzu beans. Piccolo groaned, running his hand down his face as Gohan tripped, dropping the senzu bean down a crevice. Gohan let out a small whine, huffing. "I can't see..."

"You don't get a senzu bean then! I don't want to hear any whining!" Piccolo chided him, turning his attention back to Cell Max. "Let's do this!"

Taking off, Piccolo rushed head first into the battle, followed by Y/n and Gohan, Goten and Trunks, and 18. Krillin stumbled backwards, giving Bulma a nervous grin. "I-I'll stay and protect Bulma!"

Cell Max let out a yell as he swatted as Gamma 1, who was flying circles around him, gun aimed right at his head and firing. His eyes widened as Cell Max slapped away the ball of ki, Gamma 1 barely managing to dodge as it flew right back at him. Momentarily distracted, Gamma 1 couldn't dodge as Cell Max flung his fist straight at the Android as he was wide open.
