| Y/N's POV |
(not proofread)"Come to mommy, Juno, come to mommy." I stared at my daughter from across the room, softly encouraging her to walk to me. Jenna was holding her up by her arms, making sure Juno was standing before letting go.
She mastered standing up but now the challenge was to walk towards us.
"Come on, baby girl." Jenna knelt beside me, sticking her arms out as well. Juno stared at us, reaching her little chubby arms out for us, gumming on her pacifier.
Juno just puckered up, softly falling on her bottom with a small thump and cried because she couldn't reach us. I quickly crawled towards her, cradling her in my arms till Jenna came over and kissed her forehead.
"Poor baby." She cooed as she brushed back Juno's curly hair. Juno's cries calmed down as her watery eyes stared up at us, a small smile pulling at her lips as she grasped for our shirts.
"My clingy daughter." I couldn't help but grin widely, lifting her in the air.
"She gets that from you." Jenna chuckled.
I raised a brow. "Now way, she got that from you."
"Touché." My fiancé agreed with a laugh. I stood up and handed Juno over to her, heading to the kitchen to prep lunch while Jenna tried to reach our almost one year old daughter how to play Minecraft.
Billie and Liv were coming over today to finish our wedding planning and soon start theirs. They wanted something similar to ours - small party of close friends and family only. They were hoping to get married on their favorite beach, the theme to be pink and red, carnations as the flower decor, and me to officiate.
Since I'll be officiating, Tate will be Olivia's maid of honor and Finneas will, of course, be Billie's best man. They weren't planning to rush their wedding to happen to they were pushing it off so the date would be almost a year from now. That might change though.
I was making tuna melts for everyone when Billie and Liv walked into the house. "Hey!" I called for them, seeing the brunette run up to me while Billie headed to the living room. "I missed you guys."
"We've missed you too, oh my god. Life has certainly gotten busy." Liv expressed with a tired sigh, a smile on her lips.
"It has." I tsked. "But in a good way, we're both getting married."
We shared a moment of acting like teenage girls again. We squealed, holding hands, and jumping around excitedly. Once we calmed down, Liv helped me finish lunch and set the table. Billie walked in with Juno in her arms, Jenna behind her.
"I got JJ a new toy." My best friend stated. "Have fun with it because it's a drum set."
"Billie." I groaned, rolling my eyes playfully. She chuckled mischievously before setting Juno in her high chair. I set a plate of food down for my daughter and the rest of us ate.
"I tried convincing her not to buy it." Liv raised her hands in the air, regarding Billie's statement.
"It's true. She said you guys would hate me."
"I could never." I waved off. "But I will be super annoyed."
Billie giggled, munching on her sandwich. Jenna was scrolling on her phone quietly. I reached for her bicep and squeezed it once to gain her attention. She looked up at me, seeing her silent question in my eyes, and flipped her phone around.
