Chapter 2

Davina POV:
I kept on thinking about what Amy said. I mean is she crazy? She wants to go all the way to Mystic Falls just to rescue a psychopath.... Ugh!!! I'm going crazy and nothing the teacher says makes sense... This is bad, really bad. I never should have told her.

Davina & Amy are on their way home...

"Amy don't forget Kelsey's party tonight. We should go shopping now & pick something to wear & stand out you know?"

"I don't even know if I'll go so why bother." I replied sad, clearly a lot us on my mind.

"Come on you should be positive." She said grinning.

I looked at her. "Dav are you really going to ignore what we talked about earlier."

Davina sighs. "There's nothing to talk about Amy."

"I should go to Mystic Falls & find a way to bring Kai back don't you understand?"

"Amy this is a bad idea. How will you get there? Besides you know its a secret relationship your family must not know." Davina said, trying to reason with me.

"I know, it's just that I can't let him stay there. Dav if u're really my friend you'll support me."

"I am your friend that's why I'm saying you shouldn't go."

"Come on please Dav."

She shook her head.

"Please, please." I begged.

She sighed. "Fine, let's say I support you, how will you get there?"

"I'll talk to my family, hopefully they'll agree.

"Hopefully."

"Come on be positive." I giggled.

A while later:

"I'm home!" I yelled.

"Do you really have to announce it." Uncle Kol replied.

"Where's my dad?" I asked.

"I don't know & I don't care."

"Be serious I wanna call a family meeting."

"Let me guess, you got expelled?"

"Ha ha very funny." I said sarcastically.

Aunt Rebekah walked in on us.

"Family meeting? About what?" She asked.

"Let's gather in the living room in 20 minutes." I said smiling.

20 minutes later

Everyone has gathered in the living room except dad.

"Where's dad?" I asked.

"He said he'll be here." Uncle Elijah said checking his wristwatch."

Dad entered the living room in a haste. "This better be important love because I was busy." He said taking his seat.

I cleared my throat, honestly I was scared, what if they don't agree.

"So, I was thinking shouldn't we have some kind of vacation?" I stopped to read there faces...nothing.

I continued. "I don't know but I was thinking we going to another town for a bit just to stay away from all the drama attached to New Orleans you know?"

Uncle Kol laughed. "So which town do you have in mind?" He questioned raising his eyebrows.

"Well, how about Mystic Falls?" I asked sounding unsure.

Aunt Bekah lifts her head in shock and her eyes widened. "Mystic Falls?"

"Now Amy, why Mystic Falls of all towns?" Dad asked.

"I don't know dad, I just thought its a beautiful town and I wanna appreciate it."

He laughed silently in return. Oh god I'm nervous.

"Ok let's say we agree, what about your school?" Uncle Elijah finally spoke.

"Oh that? Well since I'll be around for a long time I can attend school over & over right?" I smirked.

"We are not going to Mystic Falls is that all?" Dad said hastily, clearly he has somewhere else he has to be.

"Dad come on we've never gone on a vacation and I've only heard stories about Mystic Falls, I've never been there." I said, wearing the best pleading eyes I could muster.

"Amy that will be all, we'll think about it." Uncle Elijah said.

I sighed. "You guys should its a great idea."
