The rest of the day the whole school, especially the girls, was talking about the fancy new boy. I was walking to the bus when guess who stopped me? Randy.
"Hey," he said awkwardly. "I hope we cans till be friends?"
I just glared at him.
"We both know that will NEVER happen Randel," I said after a minute of glaring.
Randy's face flushed red.
"I told you never to call me that in public," Randy hissed.
"That was before you broke up with me RANDEL," I sassed back.
I was on fire, nothing could bring me down now! Randy was getting what he deserved! That was before...SHE came over.
"Why are you talking to HER Randy," Opal sneered.
"Sorry babe," he said lovingly breaking my pride and the part of my heart that hoped he would take me back.
"Get out of here loser," Opal ordered. I stubbled away trying to regain the the dignity I could. I noticed a pair of grass green eyes watching me as I stepped onto the bus.
