The red and blue lights flash behind me as I pull into the hospital parking lot. I find a spot and throw the S.U.V. into park. Gathering my stuff and keys I open the door and hop out.

"I'm sorry I know I was speeding, but you see my sister was missing. She had been kidnapped and they just got her back and she's here along with someone else I love that got shot and, and, and.. I'm sorry officer." I rush out before he gets a word out.

He looks at me for moment as if he's thinking something over and I start bouncing on my toes waiting, wanting to get into the hospital. "Ma'am in this instance I'm going to ask for your information and vehicle information. However, I will follow you in so you can check on your loved ones first," he finishes. I nod to indicate my agreement and make a beeline for the hospital doors.

I rush through the automatic sliding doors and skid to a halt when I see Kyle is standing there like he was waiting. "Grace" he says stopping me in my tracks.

"Uh, what's going on?" He nods his head toward the officer.

"Well, I got pulled over, but that's unimportant, how's Brittany and Logan?" I ask

"Brittany's vitals look good, she's a bit dehydrated, but we won't know more until she wakes up. Logan was rushed into surgery to remove the bullet, we haven't heard anything more on him" he states.

The officer clears his throat. "Ma'am if you'll just show me your identification and proof of insurance I will let you go with a warning this time," he says.

"Sir? If I may, if Grace shows you her identification, can I show the proof of insurance as the vehicle is either mine or the guy who was shot?" Kyle asks.

The officer seems to think this over before nodding his head. "That works," he says and I hand over my license. After briefly looking at it he hands it back and without a word him and Kyle head out the doors I had just came through.

I head to the nurses station to find out what room Brittany is in. I reach the desk and nobody is there. I'm about to just go find her myself when arms wrap around me.

"Sweetie, they just settled her into room 244" Aiden's voice comes from behind as his arms continue to gently hold me. I turn and Aiden let's go of my waist grabbing my hand instead as we head from the desk to the elevator.

I push the up button and we stand there waiting. Before the elevator gets there Kyle shows back and the three of us get on the elevator together. Once we get up to the second floor we make our way through the hall until we get to my sister's room.

I anxiously push through the door and tears form as I see my sister laying there, rushing to her side I take a hold of her hand. "Brittany wake up soon. I need you." I whisper.

Kyle brings over the metal folding chair from the corner of the room and I sit in it, now that I was here I didn't plan on moving.

I don't know how long I was sitting willing Brittany to open her eyes when there's a knock at the door and it's opened. Doctor Mitchell walks in with a nurse I haven't seen before.

"Grace," Dr. Mitchell acknowledges me and starts looking over Brittany chart while the nurse starts taking her vitals. When they are done, Dr. Mitchell looks at me and smiles. "She'll be awake soon, dear. Let's us know when she does." He gives me a reassuring smile and the two leave.

It's then that I notice the guys are gone, making me realize that I hadn't heard anything about Logan. Feeling horrible that I had forgotten about him in my rush to be with my sister, I'm about to send a text when the door swings open again and in walks Aiden and Kyle.

"Hey baby doll, how's she doing?" Kyle asks.

"Dr. Mitchell was just in and said she should be waking up soon," I say looking back at Brittany. "What about Logan?" I ask quietly.

"We haven't heard, but they know to find us here when they have news for us," Aiden speaks up.

"Has his family been contacted?" I ask.

"Yes, I called them a little bit ago. They are on their way" Aiden answers.

Suddenly a groan sounds from Brittany and the pressure on my hand increases. I look up in time to see Brittany's eyes flutter open. I hear the door open, but I just stay focused on my sister as I feel the tears form and start to fall. My sister is awake.

Brittany looks up at me and I can see that she is confused and scared. She opens her mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.

"Shh, it's okay, you're safe." I tell her as I quickly grab the water on the cart and the straw and hold it up so she can take a drink. "Take small sips," I say bringing the straw to her mouth.

"What happened?" She ask her voice coming out as a broken whisper. I'm about to tell her when Dr. Mitchell comes into the room.

Aiden POV

When I see Brittany's eyes opening Kyle and I step out in the hallway to allow the sisters a moment together. Kyle goes looking for her attending doctor.

I lean against the wall and wait. Waiting is the worst thing in the world, especially when you're in a hospital waiting for news. It takes just a few moments and Kyle and the doctor are coming down the hallway. The doctor goes in and we continue to wait in the hallway.

Several long minutes later the doctor comes back out, nods his head at us, and goes back down the hallway. I decide that we'll give it fifteen more minutes for the sisters to reunite. Then I'm heading back in to see exactly what's going on.

Tucker, Christopher and Mason come rushing down the hallway and head toward Brittany's door. I quickly move to stand in front of the door, preventing them from going in, the girls need this time together.

"She just woke up." I simply state as the three of them look at me with a scowl.

"Grace is in there, the sisters need the time," Kyle cuts in. Hearing this they relax and lean against the wall seeming to understand.

Kyle POV

"What's it to the two of you anyways?" Mason ask resentfully as we wait for the Grace and Brittany.

"What's it to the three of you?" I retort.

"The girl we love is in there," grounds out Tucker.

"Same," Aiden says, then it's silent again. I'm starting to get impatient when a doctor comes down the hallway.

"Are you here for Logan Novak?" The doctor ask.

"We are," Aiden says as we each take a step forward.

"He's out of surgery now and is getting transferred to a room on this floor for recovery. He had a few complications, but we are confident that he will be fine," the doctor says.

"When can we see him?" I ask.

"A nurse or myself will come let you know when he's settled into a room and able to have visitors," he says. The doctor asks us if we have any additional questions and at our negatives he gives us a harried smile and heads back down the hallway.

"Let's go tell Grace, she may want to come with us to see him when he's all settled," Aiden says.

I nod my head in agreement and I knock lightly on the door before we all start heading in. We quickly back out when we see the girls in a hug, both crying from the looks of it.
