Their jackets come into view with the addition of wicked laughter, close to chaotic. You start to run, Maizie not in sight. You look behind you, a male Career only a few feet away. The other tribute is gone, but you already know in the back of your mind that they stayed behind to kill Maizie.
I'm going to die, I never should had my hopes so high... You thought.
