Duncan walked across a small bridge, he inked up the ramp and slipped the trigger when he swam up, the ink floated in the air,

"Found it" he shouted, Abbie immediately ran over, Duncan revealed the kettle, he jumped in followed by Abbie to save the Zapfish.

They appeared in a area right next to a tree, but a trail of bright orange ink was there, along with purple ink too,

"Glide through the ink in your squid form!" Cap'n advised through his mic, and the two did so, as they breezed past the ink. They came to a stop by large stacks of boxes...and...a thing flying in the air,
"Wh...what is that?" Abbie said in disgust, it spotted the two and charged towards them. It shot a single piece of ink, aimed towards Duncan. Thinking it would do no harm, he let it hit him. He got covered in it, and started to burn,
"Now we know why." He said, as he splatted a bit of yellow ink on the floor and dived into it, as he got the purple ink off, it then chased Abbie, she shot it, it exploded in yellow, she felt guilty for it and hoped it would re-spawn. They both walked forwards to another one, and they had to shoot it. They were starting to feel bad even if they were the opponent. They swam up the ramp, there was a sudden stop,
"You need to go your fastest in squid form and then jump at your maximum speed! You'll be able to reach the other side!" Cap'n said, so Abbie and Duncan did so, surprisingly reaching the other side,
"Splendid! Superlative jumping!" Cap'n chuckled. There were more platforms to jump on, so they both carefully jumped across each one, until the Octocopter attacked them, he shot a single bit of purple out of his mouth towards both of them, Duncan shot the Octocopter and it exploded in yellow, the guilt was heavy,
"That's it, keep it up!" Cap'n said, cheering the two on, they inked the ramp and swam up,
"Shoot inkrails with your ink to activate them" Explained Cap'n, Duncan shot ink at the inkrail with his Hero shot,
"And you need to be in your squid form to swim through it.." Coughed Cap'n, both Abbie and Duncan sighed, as they swam through. They swam across to another inkrail, Abbie shot it and a trail of yellow lead to somewhere, they went in the ink rail since it was the only place to go.

As they breezed through the rail, they came to a halt with a stack of boxes in their way, but they saw flying Octocopters in the distance, they both walked around the boxes on each side,
"Rest behind the wall for a moment and take a deep breath!" Advised Cap'n as they stood by the wall standing opposite to each other. They were both surprised that the Octocopters didn't notice them. They flew from side to side until they both got shot,
"Nice shot!" They both said together, they laughed and continued fourth. They leaped across the platforms in their squid forms to the other side. They could already see all the Octotroopers, and Octocopters, but then they noticed the one Inkzooka laying on the floor, they ran up and crouched behind the wall, Duncan moved the Inkzooka and placed it into Abbie's hands,
"You shoot them, I'll distract them." Duncan said,
"You're serious?!" Asked Abbie, she was worried about him,
"Don't worry, I'll be fine, as longs as you shoot them with the Inkzooka." He smiled, and ran out to distract the Octarians. Abbie was afraid, but grabbed the Inkzooka and shot them all down, she was shaking. Glad. She trembled to her knees behind the wall. Duncan turned back and ran to her,
"Are you alright?!" He asked, she nodded and smiled,
"I'm just surprised I did it..." Abbie laughed a little bit, and she blushed,
"...I'm glad you're alive too." Duncan blushed at her words and Abbie looked to the ground immediately, embarresed. Duncan smiled and put his hand on her back. He got up and started to paint a path of yellow for them to get to the launchpad,
"Come on then." Duncan said as he turned back to Abbie, who slowly got up and walked to Duncan. They flew to the next section.

They landed on a platform in the air that leaded to another platform below,
"Look! There's an Octocopter down below!" Pointed out Cap'n, Abbie and Duncan looked down below to Octocopters, but it was a huge jump to get down there. Abbie's fear of heights didn't help one bit,
"I'll stay here..." She muttered, Duncan looked back to her, she was scared, and he could feel her fear. He looked down towards the yellow ink and threw a Splat Bomb making the pool larger. He walked up to Abbie and grabbed her hand, she blused, his hand was so warm,
"Ready?" He smiled,
"Wh-What do you mean?" Abbie replied, Duncan started to run as he jumped off of the edge, Abbie screamed in fear,
"Squid form!" He shouted just as they were about to reach the bottom, they both turned into a squid as they fell into the refreshing ink, the Octocopters noticed them, as Duncan looked up he saw a box, he shot the Octocopters and then inked the wall. As he swam up he got to the top and inked the floor and a part of the wall. He went right to the edge and took a leap of faith, and managed to reach the other side to the oddly placed crate. He broke the crate and a scroll was inside. He jumped down and looked at the moving wall. He looked back towards Abbie,
"Are you alright?" He said, she was as stiff as the statues in Inkopolis. Abbie shook her head and nodded. She ran up to Duncan and inked the wall and swam up it, there was an entire army of Octotroopers awaiting for them. Duncan followed to see what she was staring at. Duncan charged through, defeating all three Octotroopers on the way, he inked the Inkrail and gave a signal that it was safe for Abbie to come, she reached Duncan,
"Ladies first." He smiled, Abbie's face tinted red and she went through the Inkrail,
"I knew you wouldn't be dissapointed!" Cap'n chuckled through his mic, Duncan sighed and followed Abbie through the Inkrail to the other end. They looked in the distance and could see the Zapfish, as well as see the obstacle that they had to go through just in front of them. It was like a sea of the opponent's ink, but deadly. They both carefully swam and jumped across the moving platforms,
"Thar she blows! Zapfish dead ahead!" Cap'n shouted in excitement. They both decided to ignore the shouting. They got to the last platform and inked the wall and swam up it. They ran up to the wall and hid behind it, Duncan peered around the corner,
"What is that?!" Questioned Duncan,
"That dangerous-looking blighter is an Octobomber!" Answered Cap'n. Another Inkzooka was in between Abbie and Duncan, Duncan picked it up and aimed at the Octobomber,
"Fire!" He shouted in excitement, the tornado of ink rushed towards the Octobomber. The Octobomber tried to flee, but failed, and exploded in yellow. Duncan started to colour the floor in yellow, and Abbie walked behind him. Duncan inked up the moving platforms up to the Zapfish, the orb around the Zapfish glowed brightly, Duncan waited for Abbie,
"You shoot the orb." Duncan smiled, as she just got up. Abbie aimed her gun at the orb and shot it, it shattered into glitter. She grabbed the Zapfish and they exited the place.

As soon as they jumped out of the kettle, the lid of the boss flew up into the air and vanished,
"The Zapfish's power has opened up the boss kettle!" Shouted Cap'n, Abbie and Duncan ran towards it, shocked, they both stared down at it,
"That didn't take long, we should have enough time." Duncan said. They stared down into the kettle,
"You ready?" Duncan asked,
Yes!" Answered Abbie.
