The Incubus of Yokai Academy

Chapter 7

Kuran pov --

A small breeze blew past us as we stepped apart , I cleared my throat while looking at the view " thanks..."

Kurumu smiled softly but quickly recovered and smirked " lets go back down there and make them regret questioning us !"

I blinked trying to catch up to her thought process " you..what ?"

Kurumu chuckled " I mean , lets just show them our lovely relationship and get this day over with "

I smiled at her enthusiasm and nodded " sounds like a plan "

She turned around and made her way back to class , I chose to stay back for a second and collect myself . I took a breath and went back to class . The day continued as usual besides the parental figures in the area , during lunch I sat beside my parents and across from us were Kurumu and her mother .

" Oh hey Kuran " Tskune greeted as he approached with Moka and Yukari . I waved as they approached the table and found a place to sit " these are my parents , mom and dad these are my other friends , Tskune,  Yukari and Moka "

Kurumu's mother smirked seeing Tskune and grabbed his arm to pull him closer " Its great to see you again ~ Tskune "

Tskune blushed all sorts of red shades , I looked at Kurumu with a question that I never said out loud , she nodded confirming my suspicions  . Tskune was the guy her mom tried to use her magic on .

Kurumu's mother akwardly starting stroking Tskune's arm " Tskune ~ how could you loose to a Incubus? My poor kurumu deserves someone like you ~" .

My father almost stood up but I gently put my hand on his shoulder , he looked at me confused but I merely smiled . Thanks to Kurumu's comforting hug, I managed to get my confidence back and nothing her mom could say would upset me .

My father relaxed but Tskune was confused " huh what are you talking about ?"

Kurumu's mother chuckled " oh so cute , Im talking about Kurumu's silly relationship with this boy " she pointed to me with a potato chip .

Tskune stood up stunned " WHAT?!!" nearly tripping over the chair and knocking some food over , I took a bite of my own chip " at least you didnt overreact " I commented .

Tskune gathered himself and stood up , slamming his hands on the table " kuran ! You need to explain some things " I sighed " Relax Tskune , you're reaction is drawing attention "

Tskune chuckled awkwardly " right ..." he then sat beside me and whispered in my ear " since when are you dating Kurumu ?"

I moved my head away and sighed " since today " I whispered and continued eating . The entire lunch was tense , Kurumu's mother would continue to find things to complain about but I kept replying with the most passive aggressive counter argument. 

Needless to say , Kurumu's mom didnt like me and I made it alot worse  , at the end my parents greeted me with a proud wink and went home , Kurumu's mom on the other hand  went home with a huff and a annoyed spring in her step . We waved off our parents and I didnt realize at the moment that it was just Kurumu and I , everyone went to the dorms . I sighed and relaxed " oh thank the gods...." I chuckled a little mischievously " I know you'll be getting alot of complaints when you go home "

Kurumu smiled " I dont mind " she then suddenly jumped me , pressing her lips to mine . My eyes widened as she stepped back  , she blushed " thanks...for today " she quickly cleared her throat " that was a thankyou gift....Dont expect it again!!" She quickly ran off , I was in a state of shock . Did Kurumu just kiss me ?

I looked around and now it was me all alone , no one witnessed that ?!!

I went to my room and laid on the bed , staring at the ceiling contemplating the day and of course , the soft kiss I got from Kurumu . I felt my cheeks flush , I flew off my bed and rubbed my very hot cheeks . I began pacing " what am I thinking ?!" I tried to shake my head to clear my thoughts , it was just a kiss as thanks , nothing more . A  subtle knock on the door startled me that I actually shrieked  .

" Um Kuran...its me Tskune ..."

I relaxed and opened the door , he looked worried " are you okay ? I heard you scream "

" oh that was...I hit my elbow ..." I chuckled , Tskune smiled  " oh thank goodness . I actually wanted to invite you to my home "

" your home ?"

Tskune smiled " yeah tomorrow's our day off and I know you know that Im human "

" huh how do you know that ? " I asked perplexed.  He rubbed the back of his neck " oh Kurumu mentioned it "

I instantly tensed " Kurumu did ..? "

Tskune nodded not noticing my posture and continued " so my parents want to meet my friends and they've met everyone except you "

I blinked " oh , you want me to meet your parents?"

Tskune smiled " well yeah , I met yours today . Oh and you can meet my cousin Kyōko , she's actually alot more like a sister to me . I think you guys would become great friends "

I chuckled awkwardly " I dont think thats a good idea..."

Tskune frowned confused " what do you mean ?"

I sighed " I still cant control my magic very well especially if Im stressed and Its ridiculously potent with humans ....what if something happens and my magic influences your family ? It wont be good "

Tskune smiled " that wont happen , you can control yourself around me and the others so Im sure you will be okay "

I thought about it and then nodded " okay fine , then I'll go with you tomorrow."
