Mentre Harry era a lavoro,Mona era di riposo e decise di andare a vedere come procedevano i lavori di ristrutturazione della loro vecchia casa.
Quando arrivó c'erano molti lavoratori a eseguire gli ordini per la ristrutturazione,e quando videro Mona la fermarono subito nell'entrare dentro la casa per pericolo di recarsi danni alla salute,ma lei insistette e la fecero entrare.
Quando varcó la porta si guardò attorno e vide il danno che la casa fu costretta a subire.
I muratori avevano per prima cosa rifatto le scale,perché erano quelle con meno danni.
Quando salí al piano di sopra vide tutto vuoto,si guardava attorno,l'incendio aveva spazzato via tutto.
Quando stava per andare via sentì un rumore provenire dalla camera di Clara e quando si giró la stanza era chiusa,provó ad aprirla ma non ce la fece cosí prese un attrezzo che era per terra e distrusse la porta,dentro c'era la ragazza dal cappotto nero che frugava tra i cartoni con dentro le cose salvate dall'incendio di Clara.
M:"E tu chi sei?"
La ragazza si girò di colpo
Ragazza:"vattene"
M:"Vattene? Tu sei a casa mia che stai frugando tra le cose di mia figlia!"
Mona prese la rincorsa fece cadere a terra cappotto nero e vide in faccia chi fosse,non ci poteva credere,ma cappotto nero dopo essere stata scoperta colpí mona con una gomitata in testa e le fece perdere i sensi.
Ricoverata all'ospedale Mona si sveglió con accanto Harry che le chiese cosa fosse successo,lei raccontó che andó alla vecchia casa ma che incampó su un gradino e che perse i sensi.
Mona non voleva dire cosa avesse visto,perché non sapeva se fosse stato un sogno oppure la pura veritá.

While Harry was at work, Mona was resting and decided to go and see how the renovations of their old house proceeded.
When he arrived there were many workers executing the renovation orders, and when they saw Mona, they immediately stopped her from entering the house because of danger of health damage, but she insisted and let her in.
When he went through the door he looked around and saw the damage the house was forced to suffer.
The masons had first redone the stairs, because they were the ones with less damage.
When he went upstairs he saw everything empty, he looked around, the fire had swept away everything.
When he was about to leave he heard a noise coming from Clara's room and when he turned the room was closed, he tried to open it but he did not do it so he took a tool that was on the ground and destroyed the door, inside was the girl from the black coat that rummaged among the boxes with inside the things saved by the fire of Clara.
M: "And who are you?"
The girl turned suddenly
Girl: "go away"
M: "Go away, you're in my house, you're rummaging through my daughter's things!"
Mona took the run and dropped a black coat on the ground and saw who she was, she could not believe it, but after being discovered, black coat hit the woman with an elbow on the head and made her lose consciousness.
Hospitalized at the Mona hospital she woke up with Harry, who asked her what had happened, she told him that she went to the old house but that she camped on a step and that she lost consciousness.
Mona did not want to say what she saw, because she did not know if it was a dream or the pure truth.
