"Ugh, crap."

The thin metallic stick slipped from the lock once again and Yoongi had to suppress a laugh at Soyeon's frustrated scowl.

"Should I try or..?"

"No!" she whisper-shouted and attempted anew to slide the lockpick inside the keyhole. Tongue peeking at the corner of her pouty lips. It was cute how dedicated she was about this.

After a week of supporting Jimin, Arabella and baby Jia - a combination of their names Taehyung had casually thrown in after the two had spent hours on debating as somehow they hadn't thought about any name until the nurses had asked them to write it in the birth certificate and both looked at each other panicked - Soyeon and Yoongi found themselves back in Taipei, outside the building with the storage units. One of them holding her grandfather's secrets.

"You know, I could do it. Or easily just slice it with my sword and be done with it in one second," Yoongi suggested. Arms crossed with an amused smile as he leaned agains the wall and having observed her trying to crack that lock for the past ten minutes. He was still uncertain if teaching her these skills had been a good idea, but at least it was entertaining as fck to watch her do it.

"No, no, I want to! I can do it!" she objected again. It was a matter of personal pride by now, she knew she could do it. And besides, she felt like it was her obligation to. Her grandfather would've surely want her to be the one getting in there. After all, he had also left the key to the unit in a way for her to find. She only had to get inside this damn building!

When Yoongi had tried last time, it looked so effortlessly and easy so she'd begged him to teach her how to pick locks as well, against his better judgement. Because he couldn't say no to her. Not when these usually sharp eyes got all round with plea.

He sighed, looking around.

It wasn't like he was impatient. He could stand there beside her scrunched figure, observing her attempting over and over again all night long, it wasn't a particular cold night anyway. However, he feared the more time passed the bigger the chances of someone catching sight of them after all. Sure, the buildings around the backyard were offices or warehouses, empty at this time of the day anyway, and the single camera overlooking the backdoor, wasn't hard to disconnect. Neither was the security pad. At least not for someone like him, it might've been for others.

From the area and the constractions around he could guess it wasn't storage units usually rented for high valued possessions. Making it quite genial to hide something valuable here, in his opinion. No one and surely not any law enforcement, would think of looking in a place like this for stolen goods worth billions of won.

His lips parted, about to step forward to take matters into his own hands when the door clicked opened and Soyeon picked her helmet and got up to her feet with a triumphant smile directed at him, gums showing cutely. "See, I did it!"

He couldn't help but smile proudly at her, giving her a nod as he got his own helmet from the ground. "Never doubted you."

She huffed with a giggle. "You're a terrible liar."

"Never pretended being a good one," he deadpanned with a small grin and grabbed her hand, softly tugging her inside and closing the door behind them. She switched on her flashlight.

"Which number was it again?"

"It was down there. Come, I remember," he motioned and she followed him suit, their lonely steps echoing against the corridor until they stepped in front of the familiar door as a week ago.
