Willow's pov

When we got downstairs, our friends and family were all in the living room. My mom and Haley was crying. They rest of them had grim face. My heart sank seeing my mom cry

"Wh- what happened?", I asked nervously and everyone looked at us

"Alpha, Luna, we have some unfortunate news", Matt sighed and took a deep breath but continued "your grandparents..... Megan, Austin, Alecia, and Carey have been murdered ". My heart stopped and I stood frozen in my spot

"What? How?!", Jamie asked in his Alpha voice

"They were all having dinner and there was a rogue ambush.... They didn't make it", Becks explained holding Haley in his arms. There was silence again and I couldn't say anything... I was too shocked, everything was just fine a second ago

"We need to find out who did this! Set up a meeting tomorrow", Jamie told Matt and Matt nodded "I think for tonight, everyone should rest and start fresh tomorrow". They all agreed and to leave

"Mommy", I whispered as my mother walked pass sobbing and crying in my father chest. The house was silent once the door closed

"Willow", Jamie said looking at me and I stood frozen- I feel kind of light headed "Willow". I blinked and felt my body going down, but Jamie caught me

"Willow?! Willow! Breathe!", he said shaking me and I took a deep breath "I'm gonna take you upstairs, come on". He picked me up bridal style and he carried me upstairs. We got to our bedroom and he laid me down on the bed

"Do you want me to get you anything?", he asked stroking my hair and I nodded

"Food", I took a deep breath again, he pressed his lips against my forehead and left the room. I looked at the ceiling and thought

My grandparents, Megan and Austin, are..... Dead. I don't believe, I don't want to believe it, how can I believe it?! I haven't seen in a while and I feel guilty for not visiting them. And Jamie's grandparents... I remember when we told them we were mates. They were so excited and shocked at the same time. Apparently, everyone knew we were gonna be mates except for us. I'm gonna miss them though... Megan's enthusiasm, Austin's gentle personality, Alexia's great advice and sassyness, and Carey's famous bear hugs. They were amazing people and I know Jamie won't stop until he finds their killer(s).

"All this tragedy starts when we decided to have a pup", I groaned putting my hand over my tummy- I knew there's nothing yet, but I'd like to think there is "you missed out on four awesome great grandparents".
