Lord Elrond faced her daughter, he saw no life in her face. Annabeth's face was pale, lifeless in fact. Her pale face seemed like it was kissed by the darkness of this world. Kissed by lost, and grief. Annabeth pressed her lips together as she sat down. She stared at the stone cold ground, she flinch from the touch of her fathers warm hands. "Your mother and Lindear.. They loved you." Annabeth played with her fingers as a tear slid down her face. She closed her eyes, "I loved him, I loved mother, now...now they are both gone. Because of me."
The early spring flowers surrounded them, a blanket of pink, white, yellow and green. The petals danced in the wind, floated, then gracefully fell at Annabeth's feet.
