Okay so I know what you're going to say.
"You were warned"
" You should've stopped reading"
blah blah. But the truth is, the moment I picked up a copy of Percy Jackson I was totally engrossed. I read any book that even MENTIONED Greek or Roman myths or Percy. Now I know Rick R. warned us all, Percy warned us all, in the first book--if we felt something stirring we should stop reading immediately.
Well, I didn't.
You see I had this tingly feeling in my gut, like I recognized and believed everything that this 'fictional' book had to say. But I had two parents, I knew who they were, and my greatest talent was excessive procrastination. I wasn't ADHD, I wasn't dyslexic. I figured my love for the books was messing with my mind, maybe I was going crazy.
Wrong.
If you love these books so much it hurts, you may be like me. There is no safe place for people like us, no Camp Half-Blood, no Camp Jupiter, nothing to help us see through the mist. We may be regular mortals...but there's something beneath. If you feel something tingling in your gut, by all means, read on. Nothing can help protect you.

You're already too late...
