Don't Be Laze-y (pt.2)

I ran into school that day because I was late, crashing into the back desk right as the bell rang. Tyler Laze stalked over like he had all the time in the world and sat at the open desk next to me. (there were always open desks next to me)
"Sup Alison," he said with a smirk. He had dirty blond hair and hazel eyes, and a slightly upturned nose. He was the class clown, hung with the popular clic, had no respect for others, and pretty much annoyed me beyond my limits.
"My name isn't Alison," I said through ground teeth, "it's just Allie." Of course this was the moment the test provider decided to look up with a pad of detention slips. And of course she was a substitute so she didn't know Tyler was up to his normal shenanigans and I had nothing to do with it.
"Detention, both of you!" she snarled.
"But ma'am I can't do detention today" I pleaded, remembering that my mom said she was leaving at 3:00 sharp, with or without me.
"You should've thought about before your little conversation."
Tyler sighed contently, and I swore right then that I hated him and I would never, ever talk to him again.
And, of course, fate decided to laugh in my face.
