71: Imagine - "Big Spoon or Little Spoon?"

You and Niall were chilling/relaxing on your shared king sized bed whilst watching a movie on the computer (which was in your shared master bedroom). Niall said that you could choose the movie because he wasn't really that bothered what you two watched, so you had chosen to watch "The 2 Night Stand". It was one of your favourite movies!! The way that Niall had moved his body around you, made it so he was spooning you. This was something that happened on a regular basis, mainly because this is how Niall would want to lie down with you.

Your eyes were fixed on to the computer monitor screen as Niall twisted and twirled his long fingers around the ends of your long, brown, perfectly straightened hair. You found it really relaxing and comforting. And occasionally it would make you fall asleep...

It got to the part of the movie were the pretty women and the reasonably fit man said they were going to have sex for scientific research and so that they could tell each other how to improve their technique. You could feel Niall start to move around, as though he was uncomfortable or didn't want to watch the movie because he was getting bored.

"Niall..." You huff and turn your head around to see Niall trying to get more comfortable.

"Sorry..." Niall grumbled, looked at you and then let out a long sigh.

"Niall," You ask turning your whole body so you were facing him. "What's wrong?"

"I dunno... I'm not too keen on this film to be honest.." He complained and let out another long sigh, as he rubbed his large hand over his face.

"I can turn it off if you wanted and we can just cuddle here?" You suggested. As soon as you said that, Niall's face lit up.

"Yeah! Hurry up though!" Niall laughed.

You quickly jumped out of the bed covers and over to the computer to turn it off. You then jumped back in to bed and lay beside Niall. Niall automatically curled his body around yours so you were spooning.

"Niall... Why does our cuddling sessions always end up us spooning?" You ask randomly.

"I dunno... Why? Do you not like spooning or something?" He asks.

"No, I'm not bothered. As long as I am spending time with you, I ain't bothered... Oh and I was just wondering..." You reply and snuggle closer towards him.

The room both you and Niall were in went silent for about 30 seconds. It was a peaceful and relaxing silence. A type of silence where you could just enjoy the company of each other, without talking to one an other.

"Big spoon or little spoon?" Niall said randomly.

You had no clue on earth what he was talking about.

"What are you talking about? 'Big spoon or little spoon'? What's that meant to mean?" You asked him, whilst rolling over slightly, so you could see him and so that he was lying on his side, facing you.

"Do you prefer being big spoon or little spoon?" He asked.

Once he had said that, you understood what he meant. - He meant whether you wanted to be the big spoon or the little spoon when you had your spooning session!

"Little spoon!" You said and giggled like a 6 year old girl.

"Why?" Niall asked.

"Because I feel like you protect me when we cuddle... It makes me feel warm and closer to you." You reply and intertwine your hand with Niall's.

"Good... Because I like to protect you." Niall says and let's out a small chuckle.

"Big spoon or little spoon Niall?" You ask, letting go of Niall's hand and turning around so you are on your back, with Niall lay on his side and still facing you.

"I like being the big spoon, of course." Niall says quietly and intertwined your hand with his again.

"Why?" You ask, asking him the same questions he had asked you about why you like being which one of them.

"I don't know really... Maybe it is because I feel like I can protect you not matter what and it makes me feel closer to you too." Niall replies and plants a soft and gentle kiss on your lips.

Niall let out a big yawn, followed by you letting out a big yawn. It was getting pretty late and you both had busy days ahead of you tomorrow - with you working and Niall having to go to the studio to record some more tracks for their new album.

"Okay, let's go to sleep because I am so exhausted. Night night little spoon!" Niall chuckles.

"Night night big spoon." You laugh and turn on your side so you and Niall are spooning again.

Both you and Niall fall asleep pretty fast, whilst being as close as you possibly can to one an other.
