Where we stand now

Training Day #1

Day 1

"Welcome new recruits to your first day of training!" A tall man yelled at us

There was 2 other kids here getting training for our first "outing" so I'm assuming that Katrina was right about me being 'special'

"My name is Brad and I will be your coach for this week long training session"

Oh come on I thought this was gonna be like divergent when the coach was hot and stuff but I guess not, this guys is like 50+

" You all have been chosen for a very special assignment, you may not know but scavenger wasn't all you received on your test."

"Justin, Drake, and Terra, you all passed with 100% in each category of the test, Computers, Combat, Cooking, Academics , Medical aid and most of all Survival Percentages." He said with a smirk on his face

Almost instantaneously everyone in the room, Drake, Justin and me all had looks of total shock on our faces as if we had been outside when the bombs hit

"Ok there is no way that I got a frickin 100% in this stupid test I just wanted to be a engineer!" He says, I think he was Justin. He had dirty blond hair , was about my height, and he did not look happy at all to be here, heck who is happy to be here

" Ha, I knew I was special." Said Drake smirking, he was brunette and was a little taller than me and Justin.

"So were the 'chosen' ones you could say guess?" Said Justin with a big grin on his face

oh lord we have a fanboy on our hands

"Yes you could say that Justin, but this is no laughing matter, you all have been selected for a very ,very crucial "mission" that could ensure safety and peace for everyone in and outside of vaults all over the world."

"Wait you mean people survived the blast!!!!" I said practically screaming

"Dam blondie calm the hell down." Said Drake with a huge smirk on his face

Well we got the nerd and the
big head, just great

"Well, possibly terra, from what are analysts have determined between each state is a zone about 50 miles wide that should have survived the blast."

"Would we happen to be in one of those zones coach?" I ask with a stuttering grin on my face knowing that the answers  most likely no

" We don't know that yet Terra, that is why we are sending you three out there to see if its ok to continue in our former world." He replies

" Wait not to sound rude or anything but if this such an important mission why did you pick a girl?" Drake says with a grin on his face

that little jerk just wants to get a reaction out of me......

"Well drake that actually is a good question, no offense to you terra."he says as positively as possible

"None taken." I grumble

"We need terra because believe it or not even though you all passed with 100% she had the best survival percentage." He says directly towards Drake and Justin

"Well, isnt that great." Drake mumbles trying not to show how mad he was that his own remark back fired on him

Ha! 1 point for me!

"So down to what makes this so important...." He says as he lifts a huge cloth off of something that was there the whole time

"Oh my gosh....."
