Chapter 7 Part 1

the next morning

(Y/N) POV

I wake up, to see Natsu's face right next to mine, I back up really fast

"that was close..." I bet I'm blushing now...thankfully he didn't wake up, looks like no one is awake but me...that's good, other wise (E/N) and Happy would pick on me

I hear Natsu snoring, for some reason it makes my heart speed up, I look down at him to see a very peaceful sleeping face...I carefully get up out of the sleeping bag

"I should go find some food for us...he gets really hungry in the morning" I shiver remembering one time he almost ate my hair...then I head into the forest

(E/N) POV

I wake up to see that (Y/N)-Sama's gone

"where'd she go?" I fly upward and spot her then fly over

"morning (Y/N)-Sama!" I give her a smile "what're you up to (Y/N)-Sama?"

"I'm just looking for some food, Natsu tends to get extremely hungry in the morning"

"Oh! I can help with that!" I start searching the bushes and trees for berries or fruit

"found anything yet?" I hear (Y/N)-Sama ask

"no...not yet...we might have to buy some food from the next town over..."

"ok then, lets head back to the campsite before Natsu and Happy wake up..."

"alright then" I start flying back to the campsite

(Y/N) POV

if we start heading back now we'll be home by dinner time!

I walk into the little camp we made and head over towards Natsu and quietly whisper in a calm voice

"wake up Natsu~ time to head home~!"

he stirs in his sleep "five more minutes....." so cute!~

"but if we don't leave now...we won't make it in time for dinner..." I say in a fake sad tone

he shoots up "I'm up! what about food (Y/N)?" I giggle

"I said we won't make it to dinner at the guild if we don't starts heading out now"

"In that case LET'S GO!!!!!" he starts packing up really quickly It's so cute how excited he is to get home...I smile then I start to help him.

few minutes later

Natsu POV

we're heading out...(Y/N) beside me all happy about heading back home even after all that's happened...I look at the ground

"you ok Natsu?" I hear her ask me, guess she noticed...

"hmm? oh! yeah I'm fine!" I try to give a fake smile but I don't think it's working

"you can't fool me with that Natsu....what's wrong?" she's looking at me with worry on her face

"It's just...you look so carefree even after you got hurt by that snake and...." I couldn't finish my sentence, it was interrupted by warm arms embracing me

"it's ok Natsu...I'm ok...I'm not hurt to badly...it's not your fault..." I couldn't help but hug her back, I feel warm tears on my face...I'm crying aren't I? I sigh which makes (Y/N) let me go and look right at my face
"Oh, please don't cry Natsu..." She starts sniffling "you'll make me cry..." She starts wiping her eyes with her arm for some weird reason, it makes me feel better so I wipe my tears as well
"Thank you (Y/N)...that really helped me..." She starts smiling
"I'm glad I could help! Now..." She grabs my hand making me blush ever so slightly
"Lets go home!" I smile again "right!"
On the train
(Y/N) POV
Natsu is in my lap again...he's sleeping so peacefully, and once again...Happy and Liah are giving me a sly smirk...
"I already told you! It's not like that!" I say surprisingly loud
"surrreeeee~" they say in unison...kinda creepy I must say, which gives me a great idea....I smirk as creepy as I can and start to giggle, which creeps them out "you're the ones who love each oooooottttthhhhheeeeerrrrr!~"
They both turn red, can't tell from embarrassment or from anger because of the faces their giving me...
"Hey! I resent that!" Happy yells practically in my ear
"Ok ok! Geez sorry! I just wanted you guys to see how Natsu and I feel about that is all...."
They look at each other,then back at me and starts snickering
"That may make us feel wierd (Y/N)-Sama..."
"But that won't make us stop teasing you!" Happy finished her thought
I sighed..."well I tried..." Then I looked out the window knowing that if I said anything else it would probably get worse....then all the sudden I feel the train shake and I hear the creaking of the breaks trying to stop.....then I black out
What feels like hours...I finally open my eyes to see destruction around me....filled with fear I start to attempt to get up but I'm stuck under a bit of rubble...so I use my magic in my feet area and rocket out of there...after that I try to stand up only to fall again...darn...they must be sprained...so I decided to crawl...I have to find them...please be ok....I sniff around for Natsu, (E/N), and Happy...when I smell Natsu's blood which makes me intensely worried..."Natsu...." I say weakly "ugghhh...." I hear in reply, it was Natsu! "Where are you?!" No answer...I guess I'll have to find him myself..so I follow his smell and crawl in that direction...I finally find him...he's got all kinds of cuts and bruises...
"Natsu!" I say with all my strength...he opens his eyes slowly....thank goodness he's alive...I tear up with joy...he looks at me worried
"(Y-(Y/N)? W-what's going on?"
"The.....train.....crashed...." I'm so exhausted I feel like blacking out again....
He looks even more worried now..."are you ok (Y/N)?"
"My legs are sprained...or they could be worse...I have no idea...can't really feel them to be honest..." He freaks out...
" hang in there! We'll be out of this soon! Have you found Happy and (E/N) yet?" I shake my head to weak to say no...
He nods and tries to escape from the rubble which he's having trouble with...
"I'd hate to ask this of you but...could you help me?" I look up at him with determination in my eyes...and I try to stand up but struggling...I have to get up...for Natsu's sake! And with that I'm on my feet ignoring the pain flowing throughout my body...I take his arms and start pulling as hard as I can, trying to keep from screaming out in pain...after a bit I finally pull him out but I hear something snap and I fall back to the ground still keeping my voice in from the pain in my legs...
"Good job (Y/N)! Hey...are you ok?" I look up at him with all my strength...
"I think I broke my legs....." I say trying not to cry...he looks down at me with pity in his eyes...then he crouches down
"Huh? What are you doing?" I ask "get on....." He says in a very serious tone, which sent shivers up my spine..."what?" I ask again just in case I heard him wrong..."I said get on....you can't walk by yourself so you need to be carried and I can't just leave you here...so get on..." I nod and crawl over to him and grab his shoulders...Natsu stands up and supports my legs which doesn't hurt thankfully....then we head off to look for (E/N) and Happy....
