(A bit of a time jump coming up.)

"Congratulations." The nurse smiles at me while eyeing the ultra sound machine.

"She's getting bigger since last time." I comment watching the screen as the nurse probes my stomach covered in gel.

"Why yes she is growing rapidly, a healthy lil thing." She chuckles snapping some pictures.

"Have you thought of any names for her?" Kelsey asks from the chair across the room.

"No, but I have time." I reply peeking at my swollen belly.

"Yep, about three more months." The nurse smile warmly taking a cloth and wiping the gel off of my stomach.

"When do I come in again?" I ask sitting up and pulling down my shirt.

"Um, one sec." The nurse types on her computer before continuing, "We can do a check up in about three week, is that fine?"

"Perfect." I grin grabbing my purse from Kelsey.

"Great! See you then." I nod and walk out of the clinic.

"You hungry?" Kelsey asks as she starts the car.

"V-" My phones ringing cut me off and I sigh before answering the unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Tris Andrews?" The lady on the other end asks kindly.

"Yes." I reply and I shrug when Kelsey asks who it is.

"Well Tris, we got your offer on the apartment a couple of days ago," The lady pauses and I bite my lip anxiously. "We accept the offer and you can stop by the office anytime to fill out forms of you are still interested."

"Really? That's great! I will try to be in today." I say excitedly with a grin.

"Have a nice day." I hang up and turn to face Kelsey who is glancing at me with a confused expression.

"I got it. I got the apartment I went to look at a few weeks ago." I exclaim and her eyes widen.

"Really? Awesome! Oh my gosh, we have to tell everybody. When are you signing the papers?"

"I'm going to go by today to sign and hopefully I can start moving in next week." I smile at the thought of starting fresh, but I also feel a little disappointed that I leaving my home.

"My turn to tell news." Kelsey says breaking me from my thoughts.

"Don't tell me your pregnant." I tease sneaking a peak at her stomach to see if she's showing.

"Haha no, not that. You know how you guys always talk about how much fun it was to travel? Well Ben, Noah and I are going to start traveling again, we are leaving next month." She says excitedly and my smile falls.

"What? You guys are leaving? For how long?"

"I don't know, we were going to travel around for a while and take our time. We wanted you to come, but we thought you'd say no because of the baby."

"Oh." She's right, I would've said no, but I don't want them to leave me alone when the next chapter of my life starts.

"Tris, your my best friend. If you don't want me to go, I understand. I will stay with you."

"No, no. You should go, it's a lot of fun. I just don't want to be left alone." I admit frowning.

"You'll have Zeke, Will and Christina." Kelsey points out and I sigh.

"Yeah." The rest of the ride back to my house is silent. As soon as I get in the house I sigh and head to the kitchen to find some lunch.

"I need to go shopping." I mutter to myself as I scavenge a pop tart and box of macaroni and cheese from my bare kitchen.

After eating my poorly made meal I grab my purse and keys before heading back out again to go to the realtors office.

......

"Here's the keys." I take the keys from the reala for and give her a warm smile.

"Thanks." I decided I would pack the rest of this week and hopefully by the end of next weekend I will be fully moved in.

"No problem." I leave the building with a grin on my face and I get in my car before heading over to my new apartment.

They were three bedrooms in the place including an office, family room, living room, and kitchen. The dark oak wood floors let out an open aura along with the wide windows giving a view of the small town below. Being on the top floor gives its perks about no noisy neighbors above.

As I continue to imagine my life in the apartment my phone rings and I smile at the caller I.D.

"Hey girl!" Christina exclaims excitedly and I assume Kelsey told her about the apartment.

"Hey Chris."

"Sooo... When do you move in?" She squeals and I hear Will telling her to be quiet in the background. Christina had her baby about three months ago, her name is Tristan, adorable I tell you.

"Next week hopefully." I reply standing near the window.

"Great! I have to see the place!"

"Of course, and I have to see little Tristan." I gush grinning.

"She finally sleeps a bit longer at night." She sighs and I chuckle.

"Won't be long till its your turn." I look down at my small bump and I smile.

"Yeah. I-" I stop talking when I see a familiar brown haired guy on the street below.

"Tris? You there?"

"I have to go. Talk to you later." I say hanging up before she can respond.

I quickly retrieve my purse and keys from the hallway as I jog out the door and down the elevator.

"Tobias!" I shout down the sidewalk, but he keeps walking.

"Tobias." I call out jogging up to him.

"Tris?" He looks surprised to see me. His jaw is cleanly shaved and his eyes are bright as ever.

"Hey." I breath out, it's been a long five months without seeing him. I've decided next time I'd see him I would establish things with the child.

"What are you doing here?" Tobias asks glancing at my stomach.

"I was looking at my n.. Never mind, what are you doing?" I haven't seen him at all around town, I thought he left.

"Tris, this is Kayla." Tobias steps to the side to reveal a black haired girl with brown eyes looking at me nervously.

"Oh. Ohh. Uh, hi I'm Tris." I ramble, I shouldn't feel disappointed.

I'm the one who gave up on us.

"He's told me so much about you. You've been through a lot. I'm sorry." She says apologetically in a small voice and I hate how nice she is.

"Nice to meet you." I raise my eyebrows at Tobias when she mentioned he talked about me.

"Well, I hope your doing good Tris. I really do, but we have to go, okay? Maybe we can meet up sometime. Is your number the same as before?" Tobias asks and I bite my lip.

"Yeah it is." With one last smile Kayla and Tobias grab hands and walk away.

Maybe this baby is really my last chance at happiness.
