"What are you doing?" I asked Mysterious, seeing her walk around the room

She stopped, shrugging, and started walking around some more.

"Hey, um, can we go to the store, please?" She looked at me, her lips forming into a slant

"Yeah, sure" I said, getting up from the bed

She left the room and I heard her going down the steps. I frowned, wondering what her problem was.

Soon, we were at Target. Mysterious walked away in a hurry and I didn't know where she went. My face scrunched up, walking around the store to find her. I shoved my hands in my pockets, going down every aisle, going to every section in the building.

I started to get confused.

Going to the Pharmacy and Care section, I went through the soap area.

"Ooh" I picked up a bottle of shower gel

"Pussy"

I dropped the bottle in my hand, seeing Grandpa standing there.

"Nigga, what?" I furrowed my eyebrows together

"Nothin', why you here?"

Pursing my lips, I squinted my eyes, "What kind of question-"

"Just answer my question, nigga boy"

My hands ran over my face, a groan leaving my mouth, "I brought Mysterious here"

"Where she at?"

"I don't know"

"You lost her?!" He shouted

"Shut up, what the hell?" I scoffed, "Nah, I ain't lose her"

"You had to. That's child endangerment"

"She's 18"

He shrugged, flicking my forehead, and left. I watched him walk away, seeing him meet up with Grandma.

Turning around, I saw Mysterious holding a large pack of pads.

"What you need those- oh!" I tucked in my lips "Why didn't you just tell me?"

"I-I didn't know how"

"It's okay, baby. When did you start?"

"When I woke up"

"Was I asleep?"

She tilted her head, poking her bottom lip out a bit- giving me that serious face that intimidates me.

"I'm taking that as a yes" I nodded, taking the item from underneath her arm "Is this all you need?"

"I think so"

"Well, I'mma get some more for you" I told her, going to the aisle with the feminine products

"But I don't need that much, Jymil" She followed behind me
