I dropped the note and ran to dally. He held me close. "It's gonna be alright Rose." "No it's not dal how am I supposed to be happy on the happiest day of my life when I know there's my evil step-dad trying to kill me!" I sobbed more and more into dal's shirt. "I won't let that happen to you, ya hear." I looked up into his eyes and hugged him so tight. Not knowing that this would be the last time I would ever see him.
