Rose looked at me so frightened, "Rose he will never get that chance. I don't know what I would do if I lost you." I hugged her and carried her to the bed. The next morning I looked next to me and didn't find her. "Rose.." I got up and she wasn't in the house. I found a note, it said

I dropped the note on the floor. 'Oh Rose!' I went to the Curtis house. I opened the door hoping someone to be home. Luckily most of the gang was there. "What's the matter dal." Johnny said. My face was red and my ears were hot. "Rose! Her step dad took her! I found this note." I handed it to Darry and he read it aloud."dally, he was planing on killing her!" "Yeah.." I was sobbing. I couldn't help it I loved Rose and I can't lose her. "Alright dally it's gonna be ok, Come on man..don't cry." Johnny said an put his arm on my shoulder. "Dal, we'll go with ya at midnight. We got your back if that asshole tries to pull anything." "No.. Guys I need to go alone." "Dally listen." Darry started. "You and Rose can get killed. If you really want to go alone take a blade."
