To Kei, Practice feels like it's been going on forever, just dragging on with Hinata and Kageyama screaming at each other whilst Noya and Tanaka jump about encouraging them

Kei heaves out a heavy sigh, putting his glasses on top of his head and rubbing the bridge of his nose carefully

To make matters worse, Yamaguchi was off with the other two first years, trying to hush them but ending up getting tackled by Noya and ended up in a staring challenge

'Is this even practice anymore' Kei asks himself as he watches Daichi and Suga walk out, Asahi mumbling and fiddling with his hands as usual, and Kiyoko well, writing down next matches game plans is all Kei can assume

Suddenly a loud shout is heard, but it's not from the two loud mouth first years or loud mouth second years, it's from quiet little Yamaguchi, after his shout he covers his mouth and mutters an apology

"Why are you sorry? We always scream when we win, you just did too! Learning from your senpai I see" Noya sniffles, rubbing his eyes, he's not crying their just sore from having a staring match with Yamaguchi for three minutes straight

Yamaguchi giggles and stumbles over to Kei, his eyes red and a little sore looking "I WON" he giggles, holding his hand out for a high five, Kei sighs and turns away, Yamaguchi slowly lowers his hand and pouts

Kei sighs once again and turns back to Yamaguchi, who looked a little sad to be honest, Kei winces and puts his hand on the smaller boys neck, surprising the boy "e-eh?"

"You did well, just don't do it again, it looks like it hurts your eyes" Kei huffs, looking away as heat rises to his face

instead of 'y-yes Tsukki' Yamaguchi giggles, and Kei doesn't know why

''Tsukki, stop that, it tickles!'' He howls, laughing at full blast now, Kei raises an eyebrow, only to realise his fingers have been rubbing Yamaguchi's neck, for the first time In this practice, Kei smirks

He brings both of his hands up and starts tickling, Yamaguchi gasps and his laughs run over the others shouting

"T-Tsukki! A-AH s-stop!!" He wheezes, now the two are on the floor, suddenly Yamaguchi's hands are pinning above his head and the tickling stops "t-thank you" he breathes, tears spilling

Until the tickling starts again, but at his sides, Yamaguchi kicks under Kei, wheezing and giggling, if Kei was honest, Yamaguchi's giggles are cute, so was his red face and tousled hair, it was fun to see the shorter boy like this.

The two are walking home, after Kei getting scolded by surprisingly Asahi for trying to 'kill' Yamaguchi he was punished with ten laps, but of course Yamaguchi was waiting at the finish line with a water bottle and bright smile

The thought of his best friend on the floor and a mess still burns in Kei's mind, and we can all guess what they do once they get to Kei's dinosaur bedroom
