The 5Ws and H are a staple of any writing. As it happens, I only have 4Ws and H. What - a course for high school students to earn college credit. When - a six-week summer course. Where - a large university. Why - to advance my education. How - by waking up far too early to commute almost two hours from home to the campus. Unfortunately, I am missing one other piece. The who. I'm here, but who will I meet? ~~~~~~~~~~ Ara knows that stories are supposed to have the 5Ws and H. However, her story has been a little short on characters - with just herself, her parents, and her adorable dog. The distance learning programs she has used most of her life have not provided many opportunities to meet people her own age. Last summer, she had high hopes of meeting new people during other summer courses she took. Those hopes were dashed. This summer, she sets her expectations much lower. Therefore, she has no idea that she will have plenty of time to meet fellow students, flirt with some undergrads, and maybe even chat with the young professor of a another class. ~~~~~~~~~~ Cover art by Erin Kaye .
