The Swap

"Are you going to go check on Analisè?" I asked as I just arose from my sleep.

"The doctors said they'll bring her" Joshua complained poking out his lip.

"That's our baby, please... Check on her" I pleaded making faces at him, eventually guilt tripping him.

"Thank you, I love you" I replied accompanied with a kiss after he sighed at me.

I danced in bed at my victory as he left to go and see our baby, Analisè.

Joshua's POV:

"What the fuck are you doing bitch?" I yelled storming towards the woman caressing my baby.

As I snatched my daughter from her hands I focusesd onto the woman again, studying her appearance as she backed away into the darkness.

"I know you" I growled almost pouncing on her, I would've if my daughter wasn't in my hands.

"No, you don't" she reassured me with a shaky voice, she was afraid.

"Get out before I make the doctors take you out in a hospital bed" I hissed defensively, what's wrong with people bruv?

Analisè began to scream traumatically, almost deafening me, I bounced her from side to side and snuck her away to be with her mummy.

Yn thanked me as I entered the room with Analisè noiselessly moaning out of discomfort.

Yn's POV:

"You look- what's wrong?" I asked intrigued by Joshua's facial expression that he maintained ever since he came into the room.

"Nothing, it's no-

"Don't lie to me, what happened to Analisè when you checked on her?" I asked beginning to hyperventilate, I can't imagine anyone harming my baby.

"A woman was trying to claim Analisè, she looked as if she wanted to swap our baby with someone else's, but... There's more... I feel like I recognise her" Joshua claimed losing himself deep in thought.

"It wouldn't- Tiana, wouldn't" I told myself as I embraced Analisè.

"That's her, that's her name, from your Uni right?" He confirmed in a stern, unmoved tone.

"Yes" I slowly answered.

My mind was developing new ways to terminate her being every second.
