A/N: Don't read this book without reading Hooked: Good Intentions (YN) and also remember that Yn means Your Name
A little reminder: This book is set 4 years later, when everyone's in university and piecing their lives together to prepare for their futures
Yn didn't forgive her dad despite the fact her dad tried everything he could, he left her huge sums of money and gifts constantly, but I guess you can't buy someone's trust or love back.
Yn and her mum's relationship got a bit better, but Yn still is very cautious. Be careful of who you trust.Yn and Chris never got together because one Yn didn't want to disrespect Joshua, she still liked him (Which you would've figured if you read the last book). Chris was mad about that but he just accepted it.
Paris never came back and Tyler found a new "girlfriend" more like side chick whom he called just for sex, he never went back to the same Tyler we knew and loved I guess Paris' disappearance really got to him.
We also found out that Miah and Malakai made out the day of the carnival which we found out on the day of Malakai's birthday, everyone was in a state of shock but I kinda suspected it from the start.
Anyways it was kind of a good thing because they got together but a bad thing at the same time because it crushed Cruise. But eventually Cruise got over it and decided it would be best if he stayed away from all of us.
That's about it. That sums up everything and brings us to our current day.Yn's POV:
"Yn, Ymn Yln, do you take Dontae Rhys Evans to be your lawfully wedded husband" the priest asked
"I-
As soon as I was about to answer Joshua and Chris burst through the door.
My heroes, thank you Lord.
"Yn" they both shouted, they seemed out of breath like they were running.
"I don't" I acknowledged, I let a tear escape from my eye as I stared at Chris and Joshua who were staring back at me.
Gasp and murmurs filled the air, everyone was in a state of confusion.
Dontae grabbed my neck which caused me to close my eyes, he nearly hurled me onto the floor but he stopped, I opened my eyes slowly to see Joshua beating the life out of him.
By this point I just wanted to leave, I had no place being there even if it was my wedding.
I hurriedly got up and exited the church, clothed in shame and embarrassment.
Joshua's POV:
Damn. I'm not letting this girl slip away again.
Yn rushed past me and I followed behind her, she got into her car ready to drive off, but I ran to her window and started banging which made her roll it down.
"What?" she asked, wiping her tears
"Chris come" I shouted and waved him over
Chris zoomed to the car and we both pilled into the passenger seats.
"What are you doing?"
"Coming back to your house with you" I replied, strapping myself in so she couldn't refuse.
She sighed and started driving back to her house.
Yn's POV:
I'm fully done.
I was speeding down the road right around the corner from my house until I saw red and blue lights behind me.
"Fuck" I whispered, pulling over
The male officer approached the car, he revealed his face by sliding his glasses off of his nose gently and peering over them.
"Hello ma'am"
"Hello officer" I said putting on a sweet voice and smiling
"Do you know how fast you were going?" he asked looking me dead in the eye
"No officer"
"90 miles per hour"
"I'm so so sorry officer" I apologised looking him straight in the eye
He took a moment before replying.
"I would give you a ticket but I can see you're in a rush and it's important" he said, looking at my wedding dress "But make sure you're going at a reasonable speed next time"
"Will do officer" I said as I pulled off
I drove to my house, slower this time. Once I got there I clambered out of my car and opened the front door to my house.
"Are you coming in or?" I asked Chris and Joshua as I prepared to close the door.
They walked into my apartment like they owned the place, Chris sat on the sofa and Joshua stood up in the middle of the room looking aggravated.
"Yn, why was you going to marry that jerk?" Chris asked
I sat down with my head in my hands
"I-
"You could've just made the biggest mistake of your life in there, he's not right for you" Joshua said, pacing up and down
I lifted up my head "Okay, I get it, but Joshua I needed you and where was you?" I snapped
"You know we're just trying to protect you, you know I've always been there" Joshua said, bending down in front of me
"Just-Just go"
"We're not going anywhere" Chris stated and stayed seated
"Argh, I've had enough" I said and stormed up to my bedroom
I looked at myself in my full body mirror and admired my beautiful wedding gown, it was stunning, I always imagined myself getting married but not like this, not at the age of 19.
Joshua came up behind me and put his arms around my waist, he kissed my shoulders as I took off my wedding dress, I stared into his eyes before I hung it up and replaced it with sweatpants and a t-shirt, we went back downstairs into the kitchen, I grabbed a spoon and the vanilla ice cream out the freezer and walked into the living room to see Chris making himself at home.
I walked back into my room, turned on the TV and plopped down on my bed to watch Love and Hip Hop.
These women, lol.
I ate my ice cream while laughing at the stupidity of the girls in Love and Hip Hop only to be interrupted by Chris and Joshua
Joshua turned off my TV
Okay, I know I said these guys was my heroes but now they're annoying me.
"And what do you think you're doing?"
"Turning off your TV"
Chris snatched the ice cream from my hands and I pouted holding my hands out.
"Oh my, does this day get any worse" I sighed, throwing my hands in the air
"No it doesn't" Chris replied, placing the ice cream on the side
I go to reach for it but Chris picks it up again, I throw myself back on to my bed.
"Me and Chris are staying at yours tonight" Joshua said and Chris nodded
"I didn't agree to this"
"You didn't have to" Joshua assured me.
I groaned and got under my covers, Joshua leaned over and planted a kiss on my forehead.
I'm so lucky...
"Don't disturb me" I warned and shut my eyes falling into a deep sleep.
