"Hey Tracy!" I called, still trying to approach my friend.

She was with a group of good looking, athletic, brats. She glanced at me and I cringed. She looked just like them.

"Oh, (y/n)." She said in a haughty voice. "Crawled out of your book pages I see? Maybe you should get with the times. After living under a rock so long I bet you don't even know what an iPhone is." They all began to snicker.

It hurt. It really did.

I was just rejected by my best friend.

"Tracy, we're bros! What's your problem?!" I demanded. "We are the team! The duo! The best of best friends!"

She smiled cruelly. "Aw, poor, poor thing. She believe we're still friends. Stupid. Little. Birdie."
She jabbed a finger into my chest as I fought to keep back tears. "I was never your friend and I ain't ever gonna be it, either. So get lost."

I swallowed the burning lump in my throat and held back the horrible tears.

"You're horrible!" I growled, clenching my fists.

"Oh~" one of her friends cooed. "Now she's using insults."

"SHUT UP!'

They all smirked and waved, whisking away and snickering.

I felt like I might puke. I ran to the empty gym bathrooms and and ran in, slamming the door behind me.
"Don't cry..." I whispered to myself, curling up into the corner of the dark shower after I shut the curtain.

"Don't be a baby!"

But the tears came. Hot and fast. I sat there sobbing, until the bell rang. I quickly washed my face and made my way to (first period).

I sat down in my assigned seat and pretended that everything was fine.

I couldn't even have wally for comfort. He was sick and all my 'friends' didn't seem to see through my fake shell.

I held my head in my hands.

Life was going so wrong.
