Chapter 11

The rest of the day was... Well... Awkward to say the least.

At least six people had seen the kiss, and after it I was definitely wide awake from the electrical feeling it shot through my veins. Those people would whisper behind their hands as I passed, and a couple would whistle or make kissing noises.

Every time Wally would walk past I would blush and look away, getting lost in whatever crowd was heading to my next class.

Believe me, it ain't easy hiding from someone when you have them in every. Single. Class.

And finally came lunch, the thing I had been dreading all day. See, I sat right across from Wally. I slowly entered the cafeteria, slowly got the table, slowly sat down, nervous.
Wally came quickly, as always, and sat down, grinning like an idiot. His eyes were wide and his hair was wind blown, his face flushed as well. He sat down with a laugh, and I noticed a couple shell shocked boys walk into the room.

"What's that all about?" I asked, eyeing the boys.

"Showed those track stars who can run the fastest!"

I smiled at him. He's so darn cute. I completely forgot all the awkwardness from the bus. "So, you beat them?"

He laughed loudly. "Absolutely!" The lunch lady called our table and we shot up, heading toward the lunch line. "Hey...uh... (Y/n)?" He began, looking a bit awkward.

"Yeah?" I glanced at him, grabbing a tray.

"Will you... Uh...well... Will you be my... Uh..." He looked so awkward, it was flipping adorable. He looked away, blushing deeply. "Will you be my babe? I mean, girlfriend?"
Now it was my turn to blush. I stared at him with my jaw hanging wide open, like mangle from FNAF. ((That was actually for you guys since you seem to love it)) "Well?" He asked, looking crestfallen.

"Y-yes! Yes of course!!" I blushed deeply. I grabbed my food and ran back to the table. Wally came and sat across from me, grinning like a lunatic.

Oh my god. Was all I could think.
