Guys, we have a problem. I literally have no idea what to right, and have no will to write it... Like, literally, I have no idea what to do. Oh, btw, my week has been terrible and I can't update as much. :T
We sat on the park bench for a while, him holding me around my waist and nuzzling my neck while I sat in his lap, telling him about my week. "You smell good." He murmured sleepily.
I laughed, turning around to face him. "Uh- because I took a shower." I rubbed noses with him.
He laughed and kissed my nose. "Oh, you're so cute." He played with my hair.
"So are you." I smiled, tugging on a couple of his red curls.
His eyes lit up suddenly. "Hey, let's go get something to eat! We can get some delicious bacon cheeseburgers from Applebee's!"
I frowned softly. "But it's so expensive...." I murmured. Don't get me wrong, bacon cheeseburgers (especially with the delicious honey mustard and mayonnaise sauce that drips out of the burger), but it was really a lot of money.
"I have the money." He reassured me, standing up. He bent down. "Cmon, piggy back ride!" I relented, grinning, and hopped up onto his back. He ran through the park at his super speed, making me laugh. The world was a blur of colors speeding by. The wind whipped at my hair and face, feeling cool and fresh and amazing. Now I could see why Wally loved his speed so much, it was incredible!
He came to a halt in front of the restaurant, trembling as he tried to force his body to a sudden halt. I laughed and slid off his back. I stood dizzy for a moment, combing down my hair. "That was incredible!"
Wally grinned. He hooked his elbow with mine and led me into he restaurant, and we quickly got a booth seat. We both ordered a drink and as we sat there sipping at them I felt my eyes wander. They suddenly landed on a person I hoped to never see in my life, but had been searching for.
I swallowed thickly, a shiver passing down my spine. "Wally." I whispered.
"Hm?" He grunted, looking up from the menu.
"Wally- it's Heatwave."
