"Kovu, come look!" Said Kiara.
Kovu came over and look into Kiara's paws. Three little cubs laid there.
"What are their names?" Asked Kovu.
"The chocolate brown one is Koda, the one with the caramel coat is Asha and the other one is Leah."Kiara smiled as Leah did a cute sneeze.
Kiara and Kovu nuzzled each other, then they nuzzled their newborn cubs.
"Their ceremony is tomorrow." Said Kiara.
Kovu walked next to Kiara and laid down next to her. Kiara nuzzled into Kovu's mane and fell asleep.
The next morning, the Cubs had opened their eyes. Koda had brown eyes like his coat, Leah had dark orange eyes and Asha had beautiful aqua green eyes.
Kovu came into Priderock. Kovu nodded. "He's ready."
Kiara picked up each of the Cubs by the scruff and carried them out. She gave them to Rafiki the baboon. He each put a berry mark on their forehead and carried them to the edge of Priderock. He held them up for all to see. Each and every animal bowed. Kiara and Kovu smiled and nuzzled each other. This was the start of their new life. Being parents.
