Chapter 4: i saved you

Light and L carried eren to Levi's room...
They didn't talk much but light was sniffling...and for a guy who killed millions of people something was getting to him...
L didn't talk ether

He looked at him a few times and he realised that he was letting go of eren slightly...
"Light....his legs are dragging on the floor" L said softy

Light moaned and let eren go completely....
L lifted eren onto his back and carried on walking

"You do realise captain Levi is going to make you wear shoes....and more suitable clothes" light said meanly like he was angry at L...

"No! I won't let him....I don't like shoes" L said sharply
Eren moaned

"Have a look to see if his eyes have opened yet light please" L said looking away
Light walked behind L and lifted up Eren's head by his hair...his eyes still closed but it was clear he was comming around

"Yes he'll be waking up shortly" light sighed
"What's wrong have I done something?" L asked looking at light with wide eyes

They was near the castle now....and there was horses around and people talking...

"Huhh......no it's not you" light said scratching his head
"Please tell me..." He replied

Light sighed
"Captain....." He quietens his voice "Levi....the way he was with....eren...he cried....he weeped he hopped"

"I didn't understand how this has anything to do with you or me.....that's Levi's business not ours....he is our captain we shouldn't get involved " L sighed quietly

"I know we shouldn't.....but L when I made that gay joke did you see him...." Light looked at L and L looking like he was turning red and his walking was getting quicker.

"Yes...what are you suggesting?" L said planely as he opened the door to the castle were the rooms were...

"Do you think.....captain Levi is...." Light stopped talking
"Gay...?" L finished

Light stopped walking and L carried on...he got to the stairs now and began to walk...
Eren's hand started to rap round L's body as he was waking up and felt unsafe being carried without supporting himself

"W..w...w...what?" He mumbled
"Your alright there buddy...." L said as he heard eren waking up
"L...L....Levi? Are you carrying me? W..w...what happened?" Eren said resting his head on L's back as he was extremely tired
"No...I'm L...I'm one of the new recruits..."
"Uuhh oh ok"

Light sighed as L had reached the top of the stairs and he was still at the bottom...he ran up after them...

"Which room is Levi's room?" L asked mostly to eren but he was to weak to answer
"This one I assume..." Light said running up aside L and pointing to the cleanest door

Light reached out for the door and a sudden bang emerged from behind them....along with sudden screams

"What the?" L said turning around
"Must be a Titan I suppose" light said opening the door to Levi's room, L walked into the room and laid eren down on Levi's bed...

"Light....there's only one bed?"
"Double?" Light answered as he walked into the room too as there was no further any screams or crys but there was the sound of swords or blades and the weird:
ZIP
CLANK!

Sound.

"Yeah..." L replied

They looked at each other....
"Why did it upset you so much when Levi was giving eren CPR?" L asked still wondering

(Lights flashback)
"Oh god...has it gone?"
Light slowly got out of the the wardrobe and everything was silent like the whole earth was deserted...
Light breathed heavily and turned his TV on.....
No signal

"No....what?" He panicked
As he stumbled out of his bedroom door and down the stairs towards the kitchen.
death!

His mother half eaten laying on the floor

Death!

His sister's head.....the expression frightened

Death....he was the only one who survived

He ran to the door his mind numbed from emotion....he opened it and his eyes widened
He wasn't the only one alive...

Well he hopped that as L lay covered in a left over building on the floor not that far away....
"Oh...." Light shivered
He wasn't overly keen on L but after seeing him almost dead he wasn't even that close to Him it got him....

Light ran to him....tripping along the way...
"Be alive be alive"

He held his arm and felt for his pulse.....
No pulse...

He got to his feet and lifted the rubble of of him and dragged him out...
He didn't think, he....

He breathed in and did mouth to mouth....
At this moment light realised something.....
Something he'll never be able to forget, at that moment he realised L was the most important person in his life a person he couldn't afford to lose....

Some would say that's because they was the only people alive at that moment in time...
But others would say it's because he was actually slightly attracted to L....

L did wake up....in lights room in his bed...
The first thing light ever said to him was

"Get up! We are going to shiganshia"
(End of lights flashback)

"You don't know L you can't remember....." Light said covering his mouth as he started to shake and nearly cry...

"Why are you crying cadet Light!" Levi said as he had landed by his door his blades covered in blood along with his uniform and face....
"What ever happened to you.....forget it!" Levi said as he walked into his room
"How is he?"

"He's....ok..." L said quietly

Levi walked up to both of them....realising something was getting them down
"I know I'm not good with emotional stuff...as I never really get emotional but....I have a pair of ears that can listen to the things you have witnessed....I saw my family die my sisters head ripped of from her body...." Levi said as he lifted his head to look at them

Light swallowed hard....and placed his hands on his knees almost like he was about to throw up...

"EH DONT THROW UP!" Levi cried "I cleaned this room this morning!"
L laughed

Levi shuck his head "and you think I'm joking"

"I saved you...." Light cried "I fucking saved you....like Levi just saved eren"

"You mean...." L blushed a bit
Levi looked at him and laughed through his nose...

"Lest I'm not the only person who is good enough of friend to actually kiss a boy....to save there life" Levi closed his eyes slowly and then reopened them

"Thank you I guess..." L smiled
"I guess you had a hard time light....I heard about your town...." Levi said

Eren moaned again and turned over.....
"Ahh...." He cried "it hurts..."

"Tsk..." Levi laughed "I guess he's In pain....do you mind...."

"I could do with getting some sleep anyway" light sighed whipping his eyes dry and walking to the door
"Levi....?" Light said as he walked just outside the door
"Hum?" He answered while he sat at the bottom of the bed eren was laying on...
"You'd listen if I wasn't to talk to you about anything?" Light swallowed hard

"Sure..."
L walked to the door too...
"Goodnight captain" he said walking out of the door with Light
