Chapter 12: trust..in future friends

Now everyone was sorted Levi walked back up to the front and stood on the stage and cleared his throat.

"Today I am teaching and testing a group of selected solders! The rest will be left for Erwin smith" he nodded at Erwin and looked forward "the following people will follow me and collect their horses" Levi shouted

"Light yagami!"
"L....?"
"Eren jaeger"
"Mikasa Ackerman"
"Armin arlert"
"Jean Kirsten"
"Sasha blouse"

All 7 solders shouted:
"YES SIR!"

And they followed Levi.
"Wheres my cake?" L moaned
Light laughed and shushed him "L not now"

"Get on your horse and follow me.....I'm not going to explain anything this is a trust exercise....we will see Titans! But only the trained will attack okay!?"

"Yes sir!" Everyone shouted except L and light

Who was still choosing there horses...
Levi's horse galloped up to them and Levi picked 2 random horses who happened to look the most handsome and strong...

And he rode of again...
And they mounted their new pet...

Levi's horse was the best....it hat to be as he would be doing most of the killings today...
He galloped of to the gate into the world outside of the walls...

Eren followed!

Followed by;
Mikasa,armin,Jean,sasha, L and light

5 minutes after leaving the gates 2 Titans appeared
"EREN LEFT!" Levi shouted
"MIKASA RIGHT!"

Eren turned left, mikasa turned right

"Now listen to me.....keep your eyes forward! If you see ether of them suffer in death it will scare the life out of you!.....but me mikasa and eren are the best at slaying these Titans..."

L kept looking left and right as things like this creeped the living day out of him....he hated shimigoshi's never mind human eating Giants.

Light slowed down slightly so his horse was next to L's "keep your eyes forward Ryusaki...."
"Ryusaki?" The rest of the group questioned all turning around to face L...

All except Levi
Who asked: "whose ryusaki?" Still looking forward

"I am.....most people call me L as I used to be a great detective....lots of people wanted me dead! I wouldn't show my identity or anything that would put my life at risk....but I suppose there is no reason why you can't call me by my name" L said hurriedly

"Okay Ryusaki......" Levi said slowing down of his horse...
"Armin take the lead!!!"

"What? Sir?" Armin whispered
"DO IT! After all this is a trust exercise!"

Armin increased the speed and Jean and sasha followed as Levi went to the back...

(Mikasa and eren still killing the Titans)

"Light go in front please...." Levi ordered
"Steady speed L...." Levi said holding the rains of L's horse

"Call me Ryusaki sir...." L/Ryusaki said looking Left and seeing the light reflecting from erens blades and hitting the Titans neck...

Ryusaki looking forward his face worried and full of fear! "I can't do this I wanna go back!"

"Please sir take me back!"
"Sir?"

"RYUSAKI YOU WILL NOT GO BACK! YOU CAN DO THIS! LOOK FORWARD! IF I SEE A TITAN NEAR YOU I WILL KILL IT!" Levi said making him hold the rains of the horse and look forward

"Okay sir...." Ryusaki said terrified

Levi kicked his heel on the stomach of the horse and the horse raced forword in front of armin
"You've just earned a point armin!...."
"A point?" Armin asked in confusion

"Yes everything will become clear later....I have to make a decision....something to do with the people I trust but that's the only people That can trust me!" Levi said facing foreword

Mikasa and eren joined the line again....
"ABNORMAL!" Sasha shouted pointing to a racing Titan charging towards ryusaki/L

"aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAA!" L shouted "oh I'm gonna die!"
"EREN! KEEP THE LINE GOING! FORWORD YOU SEE A TITAN KILL IT! YOUR INCHARGE NOW!" Levi said turning his horse around and standing up on its back

he leaped and activated his ODM gear and glided upto the Titan along the way attaching the blades the the handles...

A few moments later landing on the arm and running upto the neck of the Titan and jumped and cut a chunk out of the neck....

The Titan collapsed centimetres away from Ryusaki......
"OH GOD THAT WAS CLOSE SORRY L!" Levi shouted landing on the floor and running upto his horse...

He jumped and landed on the back and raced forword....back so he was back in charge of the mission....

3 more people to test....
Light
Sasha
And
Jean...

"Light! Come up to the front! I need you" Levi ordered
Light kicked the horse and the horse raced to the front....

Levi smirked he wanted to challenge this idiot as he was the reason he was doing the whole mission (have you guessed what he's doing yet?)

"Go 10 meters in front and tell me if there is any Titans coming"

Light didn't answer back and charged foreword....and staid there for about 160 seconds....
"2 Titans sir! One looks odd!"

"Come back here!" Levi laughed and he turned around to look at sasha and Jean

"Your turn! Take them Titans down!"

Sasha and Jean split up and attacked the Titans....

A few minutes passed and the whole group was back.....Levi stopped his horse..
And they all stopped

"Good job!"
"We are going to go back now! You have all earned my trust.....you don't know what I have done yet but one day....you guys will find something out about me....and I want you to except it because I'm going to change something....it sort of means you will live to know who your captain really is...."

Levi kicked his horse and galloped back.....
"Wait what?" Sasha asked in confusion
"What the hell? He dragged us out to say that?" Mikasa laughed

"Hey guys....he trusts us...I mean doesn't that sort of makes us friends?" Armin smiled
"The guy is a hero!" Jean smiled "what ever that thing is I'm not going to judge him for it..."

"Me too..." Eren smiled looking down at the horses main
"Yeah I agree with eren" Ryusaki smiled as he bit his thumb

Light laughed

"YOU GUYS KNIW DONT YOU?" Sasha giggled "tell us!"

"No we don't...." Light butted in!

And they all galloped back to the walls....

A few hours later Levi was sat with a pen....scribbling the out the names:
Sasha...
Armin...
Mikasa...
And
Jean.....
