It took all that was inside of me not to faint like a helpless damsel.
Instead of defacing my gender in such a way, I stood still and stiff both my hands behind my back, staring down at the immortal with seemingly fearless eyes.

"The royals of Circe are (last names)," I announced.
Once the words were out of my mouth they stuck in the air like glue .

"There dosent have to be war, princess."He said his voice was soft.

Almost ignoring him, I said under my breath,
"Immortals and shape shifters shall never be united in peace, and shall never be parted in war."

I could have sworn Marshall sighed, he kept his eyes on his feet and let his hair hang in his eyes, joining in by instinct.

"If I lose my senses to the hot rage of vengeance, if an Abader or a (last name)
Dare break their sacred promise, only Glob himself can stop the bloody war that will rain down among our people."

"Oh,woe the day the truce was broken."

"Oh,woe the day of vengeful blood shed."

The truce had been taught to both of us over time. It was common for a shapeshifter or a Immortal to know this Sacred oath. That's why most of them stay away from us, they fear somehow if war breaks out they may become part of it.
But of course the (last names) and the Abaders know the truce, they were trained from birth not to break it.

"But...there really doesn't have to be war,(name). Listen...I only came to warn you and your people about the hunters. They've already tried to raid the the nightophere, but of course most were incinerated. Idiots.
Now they're here...what will we do? Doesn't it make more sense for us to help each other overcome these creatures instead of fighting eachother?"

I turned my back on him my dress flaring out around me, my mind swirling like it's Lacey fabric.

"I dont know Marshall Lee, all I know is that I must prepare the guards to search the woods for the hunters and defeat as many as they can."
There was more silence

"You will be held in captivity inside the castle until further notice"

The metal material of my battle skirt clamped against my skin. The darkness of the dreary woods was deafening. Cinnadale strided in front of me his Axe drawn. My dagers were clinched so tight in my hands that my nuckles were turning white.

"The guards have already found six of them, they are being stripped of their armor weapons, and powers as we speak by the council."

I nodded slowly, relieved.

"Do you think we'll find all of them?"

"That depends on how many there are."

There was more silence as we picked through the woods, everyonce in awhile Cinna would report an update on who had been captured and who hadn't.

Things were going fine until we were attacked.

The guy was a halfie. Half orc, half whatever else. It was obvious because of the pointy Grey ears. His smile was even more devious than his blood red eyes.
He appeared out of black mist in front of our path with a giant club in his right hand.
It took me awhile to realize what happed next

Cinna dropped his Axe and leaped through the air, his white hair covering his eyes. If I blinked, I would have missed it. His leaned body shifted in mid air, the fabric of his clothing began to rip, I could see flashes of smooth, pale skin and luminous fur.
He turned into a wolf the color of his white hair, shining in the pale moon light.

I had never seen Cinna shape shift before.
He was upon the orc in seconds, he bit him hard in the arm and scratched him his leg, and just like that he was in his human form again.
His shirt was gone, most of his body damp with sweat, and he was standing right next to me .

I was opened my mouth to speak, but before I could even choke out a gasp something hard hit me in the back of the head.
